Majestic Antlers in the Wild – Kanha Tiger Reserve
During my Kanha Full Day Safari, I captured this beautiful moment of a Barasingha (Swamp Deer) emerging gracefully from the tall grass. Known as the “jewel of Kanha,” the Barasingha is one of the most iconic species of this reserve, renowned for its distinctive antlers, which can have multiple tines. This image reflects the calm and raw beauty of Kanha’s wilderness — where silence, golden light, and wildlife come together in perfect harmony. The antlers rising above the grass almost look like a crown, symbolizing the pride of Kanha’s thriving ecosystem.
