do you guys seriously think temari would let that shit go down in her own house?? the answer is no.

you can bet your ass that kankuro is assaulted by temari and her hair brush at least 5 times a month, because when you live with temari you just dont have bad hair cus that shit is illegal

dumb kankuro headcanon time

real talk tho, I feel like kankuro would have some problems with expressing his emotions. This relates to the headcanon that their dad wanted his kids to be his weapons, thus they were trained to be dangerous, ruthless and emotionless.

There was a lot of bad stuff going on in kanks childhood, which probably affected him emotionally, but because he was raised to be a though ninja and never show any "weakness" he had no way of expressing these emotions. And with time these repressed emotions came out as anger instead.(alternative title for this hc : why chunin exam kank was fuckin mad at everything) 

When their father died he calmed down considerably, but talking about how he feels would still be difficult for him. Mostly because deep down he still feels like having emotions makes him weak, thus talking about his emotions is just like admitting weakness. He also doesn't know how to translate his feelings to words because he's just, never had any training with it. And when he actually does try to talk about his feelings he often ends up playing the whole thing down because he doesn't like to make a huge deal out of this kinda stuff, so he just ends up saying something like "I'm kinda not ok".

 This wouldn't only apply to negative emotions tho. I feel like Kankuro would be the type to show his affection through actions (like making gifts for his siblings or helping them out with all kinds of stuff) instead of words, because its still difficult for him to get himself to say stuff like "I love you". 

additionally, while this isn't that much of a problem for temari, she still understands what its like for her brother. And because he literally never talks about stuff that bothers him, she's learned to look for other signs. She seriously notices it almost instantly if something is troubling kankuro, and always tries to find different ways to get him to talk about it.
