Happy Transgender Day of Visibility 2021!

I used to suffer from debilitating vocal dysphoria so severe that not being able to sing was affecting my quality of life. Now I’ve been on HRT for about a year and three months, and I’m fulfilling a statement I made in my adolescence: ‘If I had a deeper voice, I would never stop singing!’

So to recognize the occasion this year, I’m sharing a rough cover of a song I’ve been learning for a year or so. (I don’t have fancy editing software or expertise or anything, so [shrug]) It’s one of my favorite things to sing and hear in my current voice, so I hope you enjoy it as well!

kaoling is such an underrated producer and I miss her so much. ...so much in fact that I translated this song myself since BerrySub's is long since lost. So uh. Take it with a grain of salt. Pointing out mistakes is welcome. 

I also was inspired to do this cover (and translate) by me revisiting my IkeSoren playlist for IkeSoren Week 2021 and discovering this is a v good Soren song so. I guess this is a quasi-entry I won't actually tag.
