It wasn’t often that Tamaki became paranoid or at least it had been quite some time since the last time Tamaki paced from his worries and doubts but he was particularly on edge today. He had texted Kaoru earlier in the day and still hadn’t received a response, which he found odd. The younger Hitachiin twin seemed to always be quick with his responses, so now that nighttime was already falling across Wonderland, Tamaki found himself alone and fretting for his friend’s safety.
There were so many different things that could have gone wrong. And Tamaki’s mind enjoyed playing these mini-movies on full blast, creatively elaborating upon each of these potential scenarios. Until Tamaki finally lost his nerve and bolted from his apartment. As a student of Rosewood, it was easy to get onto the campus during the night but he struggled to get into the dorms until a random passerby let him in. And thus Tamaki panicked more because some person let a random stranger into the dorm. A murderer could easily find their way into this horrid place!
Tamaki wandered down the hallway until he finally came upon the overly familiar dorm of his auburn-haired companion. “Kaoru! Kaoru!” Tamaki knocked his fists against the door, his mind becoming blank as he began fearing for the worst. “Please tell me you’re in there. Please please please tell me that you haven’t been kidnapped by some sentient teapot or crazed-grin cat!”
