I just got an e-mail from a blogger I follow and she says her family has been "gradually switching our home to be chemical free." Under a heading about essential oils. SO tempted to go snark comment on the blog post that essential oils are chemicals. (It's apparently Young Living Essential Oils.) Just thought you'd appreciate it. I won't use them because I have cats and guinea pigs and a 3yo child. Plus my husband has an unknown health thing.
Ugh, young living gets Everywhere. I got an email the other day about how I should stop making fun of them, and at the end they tried to offer me a discount like I’m not mad cause they’re expensive, I’m mad cause they’re not produced ethically, they’re likely doctored with synthetics, and the CEO is a bonafide super villain who leads people like his own personal cult promoting harmful ideas about health, vaccines and autism. No thank you, m’am, I don’t want your discount.

-hi fives- you've been doing so well lately and your achievements are an inspiration to help me get my own shit together
hahahahaha
rest assured that I do not have my shit together by any stretch of the imagination. I haven’t been on tumblr as much lately like 50% bc of grad school starting and 50% bc I’ve been playing runescape with all my free time. I’m flattered though, so thank you, and I’m glad you’re inspired even though I don’t feel inspirational :P and good luck with everything!!

I loved running when I did it. Wish I could still do it. Maybe if my feet ever smarten up I'll try again.
That sucks, I’m sorry :( I hope your feet get better soon!
(funnily enough, I’ve hated exercise for the sake of exercise for most of my life, but I’m actually starting to enjoy it this time)

I am SO PROUD of you for sticking it out and making it happen even though you wanted to drink. It's probably all of the things feeding off each other, that's pretty common. But YOU DID IT ONCE and that is AWESOME and I know I'm just a random internet person but I really am proud of you for doing the things.
Thank you! This actually really did make me smile when I read it. I really appreciate it!!! <3 <3 <3
@karalianne - A pretty good summary of what came up before with anatomical variation sometimes making it harder to get things numbed properly. I ran across this, and thought you might be interested.

Harold Doherty is pro-ABA (it's abusive and causes PTSD in autistic people) and treats anyone who tells the truth about it in horrible ways. While I am sure that NB needs services for autistic adults, I'm 1000% certain that anything HE supports will be bad news for autistic people.

It's the farmers here in SK, they always vote Sask Party and they always vote Conservative. It's really frustrating to be a rural citizen who votes NDP! We even had to drive AN HOUR to vote today, with a tired, cranky baby in the back seat, but we did it. Even though we both knew NDP wasn't going to win our riding, because they never do. (Note that we live 5 minutes from a town and our designated polling location was an hour away. The ridings are ridiculous.)
