the only time ive ever had a dm read me somethin was when there was like a dispute about rules/a rule we didnt know about… most rulebooks have a ‘for players’ section tho, and at least in my case, the dm just passed around/lent out the book so folks could skim or read it as they needed to

I meant in terms of storytelling because I'm looking at one of the free aventures and I can't tell which parts to read to the group

at first i thought “why is it called a cold sore???” but then i started imagining sores like to be on the inside where its nice and worm
