The day was peaceful for the most part. Calm and serene. That is until a weird puff of smoke or gas of some kind followed by a thud, the sound of shattering glass, and a primal, ungodly wail echoed from Kari's room. But it didn't sound like her. It sounded like an infant? But not entirely human. It had a few beeps and mechanical whirring mixed in with the cries.
Bumblebee rushes in and...what? What is going on in there? Kari?

A young boy hidden. All alone, silently watching. The muted hush within the forest heavy. Swelling in a deathly still. Not a single sound breaking the weighty silence. Not even him…
Yes. The child lingering there, resting upon steady threads, might only be described as ethereal.
The yukata, bathed in pure white, patterns of spider webs, of crimson circles embroidered within the threadbare fabric. Cast the same pale hues as his skin, the lavender undertones of silver, windswept, locks that fell before the boy’s face. Merely gazing at the jet black spiders lazily ghosting upon his open palms. Feet porcelain pale, bare. Soft azure hues standing out sharply against crimson sclera
Radiant hues flickering up then, at long last tearing his attention away from the spiders within his hands.
It was only then, with that gentle symphony of silken rustling, did he first notice. The muted melody of webs quietly creaking in soft protest in the dead of the night. An intruder….Stalking through the thick woods, the sea of boundless trees, catching upon web after web.
Perched high upon delicate threads. Barely visible, even with the bleak night sky painted in the luminescence from the full moon overhead. Bleeding everything in hues of soft silver. Absently peering at the slender figure wandering panicked through the heavy underbrush.
Crimson hues flickering then, gentle embers of curiosity ebbing through the boy’s otherwise impassive demeanor. The stoic facade bleeding away around the edges a bit as he took in the sight of the stranger coming closer still.
The realization giving sudden pause.
A human?
Wandering so far?
But what was it even doing here?? Taking note of those wide eyes etched with dull terror and frustration, of those muttered sighs that escaped it soaked in ire, it seemed as if it was lost.
Truly, they had bad luck.
It was late. The moon teetering already so high upon the sky.
Did this human’s kin never read them bed time stories about wandering alone in the after the sun had set, only to be demoned away by ghastly spirits of the night??
Kari gasped softly. "Candy is a sweet treat made of sugar and can come in a ton of different shapes and sizes and flavors! A lot of people like it, mostly kids though. I really like fruitycandies but chocolate is good too. Though I'd have to say my my all around favorite is caramel." She said then blinked as an idea formed in her mind. She rummaged through her bag, grabbing a strawberry flavored hard candy. She unwrapped it and gave it to Koga. "Here, this one's strawberry flavored." She chirped
Koga blinked at the descriptions and tilted his head. There was fruit candy? Well he might like that. However when he was handed that candy he cautiously sniffed it. It didn’t smell like normal strawberries. However he did pop it into his mouth and then nearly gagged.
“Holy shit! That is way sweeter than anythin’ I’ve ever had! It don’t taste like no strawberry I’ve had either!”

Kari squeaked and happily kissed him back. "I know. But you love me anyway, right?" She giggled.
Just gives her a pat on the head. “I’ll let you get away with that one.”
Kari had snuck out of her room. Her abilities still out of control from the over stimulation. She gulped, coughing a bit from the strain of said abilities. She whined, obviously in pain. But her curiosity over what was going on was taking over so she didn't care. She turned a corner, hugging herself, soon seeing Tem and Atemu. "D-dad? Tem?" She squeaked weakly. She didn't look well. "Is everything ok?"
Atemu heard her but didn’t reply. He was crying...the tears falling from his eyes as Yugi spoke, as Atem fell to his knees, as the grey face held him. He was...lost...
“Save me...” He finally spoke. “Someone...save me!”
