1. What did you ship the most before you learned what shipping was?
Hmmm, this is tough. I think Kataang, although I was into ATLA when I learned what shipping is. I remember reading a definition of it online and immediately thinking, "oh yeah, then I ship Katara and Aang!"
2. Have you ever met or thought about meeting a friend you met online?
I've never met anyone, but I almost did. I have an online friend who's from New Zealand, and a few weeks ago he was visiting the states. He messaged me and a few other people about meeting him up in NYC. Although I really wanted to, NYC isn't very close and getting there would have cost a lot more than I wanted to spend (sorry, Jordan).
3. What’s your favorite Youtube video?
Uhhh, probably this unnecessary censorship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Wd-Q3F8KM
4. If you could recommend one book of any kind, what would it be?
Probably my token book, The Book Thief. I cried and it changed my life.
5. Do you have any language pet peeve(s)?
Hmmm, not really...can the entire French language count as a pet peeve? I was so bad at it and it just wasn't fun.
6. What sort of thing really makes you feel loved? (What’s your love language, if you will.)
Gee, I'm not sure. I think if someone reaches out to me without me asking for it. Once, I made a post about how I wasn't in a good place and wasn't having a good weekend. The next day, a friend stopped by in my room and checked up on me. And another time, I made a post about something I was frustrated with and I had another friend call me to make sure I was okay. That just makes me feel really loved.
7. What book/movie/show/story/etc. defied your expectations the most and turned out to be a really well done, meaningful story? What were your expectations?
I think I'm saying this because I'm playing it right now, but Bioshock. When I started it, I was thinking it would be a mindless, shock value scary game. Go to this area, kill the splicers there, go here, do what Atlas says. But I was actually very surprised by the plot, the inner workings of Rapture, the decisions of morality, even the morality of killing the Big Daddies. Hearing the Little Sister cry and yell, "Please, Mr Bubbles! Please get up!" gets to me every time.
8. Whenever you’re doing a task, is it harder for you to start or finish?
Finish, definitely. I mean, I can have some difficulty getting motivated to start something, but I can't tell you how many things I've left unfinished.
9. What’s something you can do every day that would help you grow?
Hmmm, this is such an interesting question. I think a fun one would be to sketch quick, loose character designs every day. It would exercise my drawing, my writing, and my creativity. And it would be fun!
10. Choose one of the questions I answered!
Okay, I'll answer the question of whether I like to write or draw. And I'd definitely have to say draw! I enjoy writing every so often, but it's something that I really have to force myself to do because it can just be hard to motivate myself. I don't know, I just don't get the same level of satisfaction from it as I do from drawing.
