The Karma Killer
They called her the Karma Killer I knew her as Darma Miller A woman who believed she was doing right But became the beast who blocked out the light
She always said, “an eye for an eye” But if saving lives meant some would die Then revenge was what she was really after When the killings were followed by her laughter
A week ago she had her last gig The scene had released a riot rigged Though in the end her karma fulfilled her Miller’s actions came back and killed her
When you randomly start thinking about Nigel destroying every last shred of Jason’s self esteem in order to make him do whatever it took to keep the Take That machine running because he’d be nothing without it, including sacking Robbie and suffering years of remorse and self blame over it, and you feel the rage building up because fuck that abusive bastard and you just hope Jason’s found peace.
Sketch I submitted to twitter of my OC Negative! =D hope you like him because he really loves knifes!
San Diego (pt. 3)
This morning, I finally had a sliver of daylight to myself, which I spent in Balboa Park – a sprawling area made up of assorted museums and gardens. Disappointingly, a lot of the museums seem to be run by teenagers – most of them didn’t open until 10:30 or later, by which time I was due to head off for work! The gardens weren’t particularly interesting either, so overall it was a lacklustre experience.
Back at the tennis, the week has at last become a little less doom and gloom – the issues have been fixed (wasn’t my kit at fault), so although the days were still painfully long, they were less stressful. I even managed to don my Stats Man cap a little bit, which helped improve my mood.
Today marked the SF stage – at which point the workload becomes much more manageable – but karma continued to pee on my cornflakes; both Danielle Collins and Barbora Krejcikova were alive and kicking in the singles and doubles events, which could have produced a similar situation to Prague (albeit not quite as extreme) with a longer break between the two finals.
The two of them faced off against each other in the first singles SF of the day, in a nervy 3-set slog that Krejcikova won. Sofia Kenin also took her sweet time getting past Emma Navarro in the other SF, before the all-important doubles match involving Krejcikova followed. Given that she and her partner Katerina Siniakova are the best doubles pairing in the world (7 grand slams on the CV), I wasn’t holding out much hope. Kato & Sutjiadi are no slouches and provided stubborn resistance, but Babs & Kat won through.
The one positive from Krejcikova’s efforts is that finals day tomorrow will start later (4pm), but another way of looking at it is that play ends later. I’ll have two finals and a de-rig to get through before trying to squeeze some sleep in; I have a flight to catch at 7am…
What does a guy have to do to catch a break around here?!
Para hacer menos larga la espera les compartimos este fan art de Karma Killer 😎
Sometimes when I’m mad at the world I like to think of the lyrics to Karma Killer by Robbie Williams:
Needless to say
I guess you know I hate you
You're so full of sin
Even the devil rates you
I hope you choke
On your Bacardi and Coke
Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me
Look what you didn't take from me
