So, that’s a thing that happened?

So, hopefully small story here.
I decided to hop on one of my lesser-used characters and adjust their look, since I got a bunch of new Shiny Bitz that could be recombined into other things. I’d never been happy with this character’s armor style, as it didn’t feel....right.
Oh, and her name is Karma Shadowcreeper. Ranger. That’s kinda all I got on her right now; she was made for the hell of it.
Anyway, I spent about an hour messing around with different combos, and found a kind of nice ninja-looking one using Tier 3 Charr medium gear (think it’s Trapper gear but I forget), Funerary Shoulders, and some Luminous bits. Seeing the look that popped out, I started messing with colors, and kinda ended up with a semi-Branded look, but also still kinda ninja-ish. Definitely not a finished product, but I’m still trying to find out who this character really is.
The funny part was I paused for a moment right here to replace the Glint’s Gaze (which didn’t go with purple colored gear well) with the Bloodstone Visage (which did, a bit), and I noticed out of the corner of my eye someone stopping and repositioning themselves to look at my character. Probably screenshot me too. XD
That’s when I saw the whisper. I took it as a basic compliment, as you can see (I’m blue-box, since I blocked out their name.). But.... I’m laughing as I write this. I’m reasonably sure that my character was just chatted-up. Hit on.
The last time I heard a compliment, followed by ‘Wassup?’... which was then followed by ‘You wanna go do something? I’m bored’, I was listening to one of my friends hitting on a girl at a bar.
I politely declined, saying I was about to swap to another character and go mess with that one next, and the response I got was “Mhm.” The universal sign of ‘Uh, yeah...right... No problem...’ awkwardness at being rebuffed.
That kinda clinched it. Karma actually got hit on.
Guess that means she’s a good design then? LoL. Maybe I won’t mess with the costume too much, other than color adjustment later.
Just to be clear, I’m not trying to insult or expose this other person. It’s why I blanked their name. It was a funny encounter, a miscommunication, but I just wanted to share it while still leaving them their anonymity. I actually appreciate the compliment as it was intended, though wholly unexpected. It means Karma was interesting enough to draw someone’s attention and garner THAT kind of response!
If it so happens that the individual, for whatever reason, actually stumbles on this post, then I thank ya again; it was cute and unexpected, but if ya intended anything other than going to kill Shatterer or something, I just don’t do that kinda thing. Much obliged, anyway.
