Cry
You curl up and cover your head with the blanket, beginning to sob. You have no recollection of how you got here, wherever here could be, and you’re quite scared. You stay there, hidden beneath the blanket and shivering until the tears subside, and then you hear it. The soft creak of a door opening and a shuffle as something moves into the room. You freeze beneath the covers before lifting up a corner of the blanket.
Staring but inches from your face are large, pupil-less green eyes emitting an unearthly glow. Throwing yourself backwards you can take in the full figure in front of you, small, maybe four and a half feet tall, and covered in a black hooded cloak from which it is difficult to make out distinct features. It holds out both hands in a peaceful gesture. “You are okay,” it whispers in a raspy, tinny voice. It bares its teeth in what may be a smile, large, sharp incisors protruding over thin lips, its eyes squinting like a cat. It reaches out a hand with sharp black claws.
How do you proceed?
13. Scream
14. Kick out at it
15. Take their hand
