If you are not following Mikki Kendall, then you are losing out. I learn so much by reading her work, and I am super happy about the success she has found. She keeps grinding out amazing articles. You should check it out.
I keep saying Hillary Clinton is going to lose, and I still feel that way. (And I keep laying out a winning strategy, too.) She has made it abundantly clear that Donald Trump shouldn’t be president, but she has not made the case for herself. What would a Hillary Clinton president look like?
Would she be the Republican first lady? A conservative Senator? War-criminal Secretary of State?
What policies would she enact?
For more than a year, she has not said, despite being demanded to know how she would end police violence. There are things her and her Justice Department can do. The studies have been done, hell, George H.W. Bush did that when he was President over 25 years ago! We need bold and decisive action. She has not offered a plan, just vague platitudes.
My idea is more of an inter-generational one, where we fix the Second Amendment, and use it to reform the police, who often times are the Standing Armies our founding fathers were afraid of. As I have said before, it is the last vestige of slavery in the constitution and the language that allowed slavery is allowing this Libertarian Police State to destroy our lives.
There are other things she can do in the mean time, when is she going to announce a plan, any plan.
Donald Trump had a great idea before he called for her assassination, which is a tax credit for day care. Donald Trump is devoid of many things, but he actually is putting forward some good ideas on occasion. Sadly, because Trump actually is offering some ideas, not all of them good, that is giving people in the #NeverTrump crowd cause to consider voting for him. (Although, he could have that effect that less people will admit voting for him than actually do because who wants to admit they are a racist and a fascist? If he wins with these poll numbers it will be known as the Trump effect.)
We must hold police officers accountable for their actions, and nobody is laying out a plan to do anything. Clinton could get many more votes if she does this one thing. Hell, I might not leave the President line blank. I don’t live in a swing state, I can do that.
Trust me, I know how bad a Trump presidency would be. Have you been reading my Dora Explores Trump’s America comic in Word Salad? All I’m asking for is what a Clinton Presidency is and a reason to vote for her. The ballot’s full of plenty of not-Donald Trumps. (As a foot note, I am tempted to create a Gary Johnson’s Hunger Games parody after the real life Hunger Games he governed over.)
