PS. I went to Ba Na Hills, Vietnam with friends and I saw tulips for the first time and they were so bulbous and beautiful and there were entire rows and rows of colorful fields with them!! (Go look it up IT'S SO GORGE) So that inspired me to draw this <3

I love karson so much you have no idea whatsoever okay each time i play cdlc i NEED to play their route at least ONCE, i re-read the cabin hangout approximately 3 times each time i do so. Im so normal about karson okay okay okay i love them so much okay I've been doing this for almost 2 years?????? Haha help me i need help (give them to me now) before the latest big update (restarting from a certain chapter) i used to replay the entire game just for karson just for them okay idc i literally gained muscle memory from replaying this so many times over and over okay i need help when royal affairs came out i swear i pissed myself when i saw that you can choose your old mc to be some sort of side character okay believe me when i say that i went rabid each time i read the tiny bits of mc and karson on the school grounds during the festivals im so normal about karson its insane they live rent free in my head I LOVE KARSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried to draw them countless of times but i fumbled so bad im like a stupid old man artist from the 17th century trying to paint their lover but ending uo being miserable bc they're too fine ive been obsessed with karson for too long please indulge me with some karson facts i dunno let me officially marry them like the guy who married miku in real life im going crazy please give me karson facts im crying if i could i would write a 100 page essay about them i would i would i would do it okay THEYRHE SO AODTBBAAL IC ANT TAKE IT ANYEMROEE PELASE KARSON ONE CCHANCE ONE CHANCE GIVE ME A SINGGLE CHANCE

(I love your series so so much that i could write another super huge message about juat your stories okay.... this message is half truth half parabolic but mostly true i really. Really. Really. Love karson okay but i wouldn't want you to be weirded out haha but sorry if i did!! 😅)

OK so here are some Karson Facts(tm) that not everyone may know:

They don't get on super well with most of their family. Not because of anything majorly difficult or traumatic, but it's a big, busy, loud family and with Karson's tendency to put their head down and take pride in their ability to get on with things/handle stuff themself, they get overlooked :( (which contributes to them feeling very alone and powerless when certain things happen in the game plot)

But they were close with their uncle, who used to work at Gallatin (I don't know if I specified in-game whether their uncle's retired or passed away, so I will hedge my bets on that)

I wonder how Karson would adapt to living in the city, if that ending happens. I think it would take some time: they've had a lot of their own space and solitude while having little personal freedom, and then they'd suddenly be dealing with the reverse. Depending on whether they were attached to the PC in that scenario, I could see them saving up to move to the countryside again in the long run

Of the characters from Noblesse Oblige and Honor Bound, I could see Karson getting along best with Rys... and then as I'm starting to think about HB characters I was like "I think Karson would get along great with most of them"??? Karson hanging out at Savarel's family's farms?? Matia's parents cooking amazing meals for Karson?? Fiore discussing Westerlind herbal medicine with Karson?? Campaign For Karson To Move To Ozera 2025???

This is perhaps more of a Me Fact than a Karson Fact but writing Karson's one-on-one hangout and date scenes were some of my favourites because I liked showing glimpses of what life is like outside of the school-student bubble that the PC is in

Another Me Fact: Karson's first name was originally going to be Lucia or Luc. I can't remember why I changed it though!

Oh! And here is a piece of deep Karson Lore that I think is only visible on a niche branch of a niche branch:

Karson gets along really well with Mr Griffith, has known him since he was about ten years old because Mr G was friendly with their uncle; in informal settings they call Mr G by his first name

(which makes Karson's storyline even sadder because like! if they spoke to Mr Griffith about stuff, he'd probably believe them!! but they're too anxious and miserable to do so!!!)
