Today I am going to start writing my experience down. I do not know what it is. I am afraid to ask someone. Shouldn’t I be able to figure this out if I am the head scientist of Zelda’s personal mission to restore Hyrule to its natural glory? Well, at least that is what she tells me. Now then, onto the problem troubling me. It began this even around this evening. On a rare day off, I had made my way to Rito village to visit an old friend of mine. His name is Kass. Today while we were alone on Revali’s landing, I noticed I had started to develop feelings for him. Though, I admit, I’ll never tell him. I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship. When we parted, I had a small coughing fit. Instead of mucus or saliva coming out, a small dark red petal had found its way out of my mouth and into my hand. What does this even mean? Could I be the first person to have a strange case like this? Looking in my books, this petal bud resembles a carnation. Why would this finds it way into my mouth? Maybe I’ll make a trip tomorrow to see Purah. She could potentially know what’s going on. For now, this is something I need to look into.
Headcannon as to how Revali, Sidon, Teba, and Kass would react to seeing their s/o running from a distance yelling "ALL I DID WAS TOUCH IT AND IT CAME TO LIFE" and behind the s/o comes a guardian chasing after them LOL
How the boys react to s/o running from a guardian
Revali
Revali wasn’t even aware you had disappeared until your screaming became audible
He was alert and went to your aid, but stopped when he saw you scrabbling down a hill
His eyes pop out of his head seeing a Guardian chasing after you
Revali rolls his eyes as you scream your head off dodging the beams
“HELP ME, YOU DOWN PILLOW”
He stands off to the side inspecting his feather tips, “Mm.” Well, he was going to help you, but for the comment he’ll make you suffer a tad.
“REVALI!!!”
He sighs and easily flies you away from danger
But he doesn’t ever lets you live it down
Especially the fact he had to save you
“[Name] was screaming their little head off, and was practically begging for my help. It was not exertion on my part as that decrepit piece of scrap could not keep up with my aerial talents.”
Sidon
Not sure where there is this elongated noise was coming from, but when he looked down to his side he realized you were not with him as he thought.
The screaming is loud as a temple bell, and Sidon looks over to the horizon and see a speck running towards him.
HOLY SHIT YOU’RE BEING CHASED BY A GUARDIAN
HOLY SHIT IT’S SHOOTING AT YOU
HOLY FUCK HE CAN’T RUN FAST
CURSE HIS STUBBY LEGS
Is able to distract the guardian allowing you to get away while he jumps in the river in the knick of time, barely missing a shot at him
Quickly makes sure the coast is clear, and finds you hiding behind a boulder
“What were you thinking, droplet!?”
You look at him sheepishly “Okay, in my defense; I thought the thing was broken.”
Teba
Doesn’t even hear you screaming while he’s off in his own world
Until you collide with him
Now he’s glaring at you on the ground, but is confused by your alarmed face
“It wasn’t me!” You screamed in his face and quickly sped off
He makes an attempt to go after you when he notices a red sphere on his chest
His eyes widen and takes to the sky and has to dodge attacks from guardians
He sees you’ve taken refuge in a crack in a cliff and Teba swoops in
but you scream at him as he shoves himself on top of you in the narrow space
“It’s wasn’t you, huh?” His gruff voice scolds you.
“It did it all on its own, I am innocent.”
Kass
He was harmonizing with his accordion, but had to stopped hearing an odd noise
But the odd sound he heard was not coming from his instrument, but off in the distance
He casually looks over his shoulder and makes out your form in the distance,
Kass is ecstatic and hadn’t seen you in a while and makes his way to you
But when he is half way to you, he realizes you’re not running to him, but away from something
You bypass him as fast you can “RUNAWAYKASS!”
He was perturbed as he watch your form disappears behind a row of trees and feels the ground vibrate
He looks behind him and feels himself pale under his feathers. “Oh dear.”
Before the guardian spots him he flies into the air and makes his way over to the trees you hid behind.
“[Name]!” He harshly whispers, “What have you gotten into while I have been away?!”
Your voice comes from a bush, “IT CAME TO LIFE AND ATTACK ME! YOU THINK I HAVE THE BALLS TO GO AGAINST THAT, I THINK NOT!”
“I do not want you to go against it, I am simply-”
“Kass, I love you and you can berate me all you want later, but get me outta here!”
He is able to fly you two away without being spotted
But like you said, you allowed him to chew your ear off.

Kass singing heavy metal
- Kass is of course known for his sweet and light songs, usually about history and shrines from his teacher- S/o loves listening to these songs, so they make sure they’re sitting by Kass whenever he starts playing- He took a deep breath, getting ready to play - S/o has never been more startled in their entire life- RITO SCREAMS ARE TERRIFYING- It’s like a hawk screech but ten times louder and higher- Did it to either try something new, or to startle s/o on purpose, which is very out of character for him
> he was just roaming about, playing his accordion
> he notices the children holding flowers and papers with drawings, while being anxious
> before he can ask the nearest stable worker what’s happening, someone on a beautiful horse comes riding toward the stable, causing the children to wear smiles and cheer
> this person hops off their horse, acknowledging the children and accepting their gifts with a kind smile
> apparently, its a young traveler wandering around Hyrule, collecting inspiration for their art, which is quite popular around the kingdom, even King Rhoam, himself, harbors some of their art in the castle
> this person gathers the children around the fire for storytime
> he finds himself absorbed in their story and decides to play for them as a background noise
> you instantly like this musical birb!
> “I haven’t met anyone play such an interesting instrument before? Do you mind if you played me some tunes?”
> “Only if you’d share more of your stories with that melodically, mesmerizing voice of yours.”

Kass with a shy violin playing s/o- Thrilled to see s/o interested in music!- They play often together, Kass playing his accordion, and his s/o with the violin.- After a while, he notices that s/o looks a bit lost in thought.- After a bit of explanation, he understands why s/o seems a bit shy when playing.- He comforts his s/o and doesn’t ever pressure them into playing.- If s/o doesn’t want to play, they sing songs together.- Kass has always thought s/o sounds beautiful playing, and makes sure to let them know it!
I don't what time you sleep but can you do a quick kass hc where his s/o that loved playing instruments gets one of their arms amputated because they were attacked really badly when coming back from traveling back to rito village? You don't have to if you want
I was actually up a little late writing for other requests, I got so excited I guess I didn’t notice! It was fun, though! I think I fell asleep a bit before you submitted yours.
I don’t know if this requires a warning, but I’ll just do it and saw there are of course mentions of loss of an arm, so I suggest not reading this if you aren’t comfortable with it, but I don’t plan on adding gore, most of this is about how Kass deals with the situation!
S/o losing their armKass- Rushes them to the healer before anything else.- Sits with them the entire time, comforting them.- Helps them get used to it and heal.- When they’re ready, he has a few one-handed instruments for them, such as the harmonica, drums, one handed piano.- They still sing together before that, usually light and happy songs to brighten their mood.
