Wild and Kass - The Ballad of the Blue-Eyed Beast

A piece I created for a weekly-prompt art challenge from Link meet creators Discord Server!

The song is about the ballad that Wild and Kass play to remember the Blue-Eyed Wolf who helped and accompanied Wild in his adventure in Hyrule, and I can assure you that that wolf was there in spirit to listen to them

That's my Kass design, I created it many years ago because Kass is part of Wild's backstory

My contribution to my cherished zelda game’s 9th anniversary: Breath of the Wild

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild opened my eyes to the world of video games, and I’ve still kept in touch with the series ever since my friend gifted me the game back in 2018.

I remember being so immersed in the world, exploring every nook and cranny of this vast version of Hyrule.

I remember hearing the distant melodies of Kass nearby, and eager to talk with him once more.

I remember connecting deeply with Princess Zelda, of her story her struggles living up to expectation for her entire kingdom.

I remember riding around Hyrule Kingdom by horseback without any fast travel, because I was so immersed by the world and imagined what it would be like to live there.

Breath of the Wild was my escapism, and my inspiration to imagine and create my own art: my own world of possibilities.

So thank you BOTW, I say thank you to the people behind the game, and thank you Satoru Iwata.

I’ve seen some posts where people say that because BotW Link doesn’t play an instrument like every other Link, Kass should teach him the accordion. This is good and all, but we are overlooking an even better idea: Hestu teaching Link to play the maracas

Kass the Bard Bird Got the sudden urge to just paint, no sketching no lineart, just paint, and having played some BOTW earlier and finding my favourite character while exploring, I decided to paint him! I am very proud of how this turned out, especially for no sketching and just 30 minutes of work! Kass has such a lovely design
