"My last page, and its science homework..." she answered holding up the page. "Can I please go lie on the couch? My brain hurts."
He thinks for a moment. "You can take your break, but you won't be lying down. I'm going to keep you productive," he decides with a smile.
She sighed wanting to just relax, but closed her book waiting for the task. "So what am I doing?" she asked.
"You are going to be helping me make something for Jean," he stood up leading her to the kitchen. "I have a new recipe I want to try. Want to be my baking buddy?"
Annie narrowed her eyes at the man. "Mom said you can't bake," she points out. He lets out a sigh putting on an apron and handing one to her. "Your mother burns everything. I don't think she has a right to criticize my baking skills." Annie nodded and put on the apron.

She ran after her excitedly. "You're just in time," the blond spoke sound relieved. Kastille raised a brow. "For what?" she asked.
Raoul came out pointing at the child. "Don't answer that," he warned.
Kastille narrowed her eyes and went to the kitchen. She saw a tray of burnt red cookies that had no shape. "Oh dear god, you were baking," she gasped. "Annie, I told you, never bake with your Uncle."
"This coming from the woman who burns water!" he countered. "I'm a Fire Nymph I burn things!" She picked up one of the red blobs. "What is this even supposed to be? Who did you murder to make this cookie?"
"Its was supposed to be pink hearts...." he defended.
