MAG 122 “Zombie” has one of the best openings of this series I stg (I’m relistening again and hit season 4) and Jon introducing the statement as “Recorded by Jonathan Sims… The Archivist” LIKE THAT SHIT HITS ME IN THE CHEST EVERY TIME! Like He’s not just the head archivist of the Magnus Institute anymore, he just IS The Archivist and he KNOWS it and it just FUCKS ME UP!! I go fucking FERAL every time I listen to that intro
I just noticed that my new Lavellan has white blonde eyebrows that I forgot to fix in the character creation and they nearly fully blend into her skin and now I’m too far in to wanna restart (level 7, about to get into In Hushed Whispers) and try again so I GUESS Minaya just shaves her eyebrows for the cunt factor in my character lore cause I cannot fix this
I swear tg MAG 105 “Total War” is one of my favourite season 3 episodes, there is something about the diaristic format of the statement, the way the way Charles Fleming gives the details, the way he talks about the reality of the situation both the actually rebellion and his metaphysical situation, the conversation Jon has with the Librarian where she begins speaking Mandarin and he just understands without realizing and she compliments Elias’ choices, like there is just something about it that I LOVE every time I listen to it! Like it’s just SUCH a good statement, and something about it as a follow-up to MAG 104 “Sneak Preview” and Tim giving the statement about Danny, like it’s just so good!

But because I haven’t finished TMA, I haven’t started listening to Protocol yet, and yet here I am, already planning my Protocol tattoo, begging my fiancé to design me one because he designed my tape recorder.

I’m working on planning out embroidery on these jeans for The Magnus Archives, this is what I have so far! I’m trying to have a symbol of each fear and something to represent the main characters + important side characters (like Breekon and Hope who’s van is pictured here). I’m having trouble thinking of things for everyone so far but i’ve only just started so it’s fine. I’ll be adding more (I only have 7 Fears pictured and 2 major characters) as I think of stuff, some fears may be more represented than others, but everyone is gonna have at least one image.
I’m almost finished season 5 (I’m on MAG 194) and I’m also starting a spooky season relisten so I have TMA brain rot rn
It’s been 84 years and I’m finally listening to season 5 of The Magnus Archives (I wasn’t ready for it to end before okay?) and it’s all So Much all the time? I continue to be a Jon simp and also a Jon kinnie, I’m really sad about Daisy, the episode with Salesa literally sent me into the sun, and every clip of Tim and Sasha being silly and chatting pre-season 1 makes me want to end it all.
In short I am about 50% in and Johnny Sims owes me financial compensation for emotional distress
