This is a fan page for the unreleased 1994 film, The Fantastic Four. Run by a geek who just really likes this movie and wanted a platform to post more about it.
The Fantastic Four was filmed from December 1992 to January 1993, supposedly scheduled for release in 1994. Unbeknownst to those who worked on the project, its true purpose was only to allow producer Bernd Eichinger to retain the film rights to the characters for another ten years. Working on a $1m budget and a dream, the creators and actors behind this movie poured everything they had into making a story that was faithful to the comics and the characters, a story with a heart and soul. The result is a wholesome film that cares about its characters and the tale it’s telling, with a real feeling of family and unity woven into the very fabric of it.
Despite all of the time, effort, and money put into it by the entire cast and crew — from putting up with filming in condemned buildings, to sneaking around at night to get the editing completed, to paying out of pocket for things like a full orchestra and a publicity tour — in the end it was rewarded only with a shelved movie and the revelation that what they’d created was never even intended to see the light of day.
Thankfully, a transfer of the film was made and ended up floating around in fan circles as a bootleg, giving people the ability to watch it regardless. Over the decades it’s become an underground legend, with fans around the world embracing it and many agreeing that it’s the most comic-accurate live action adaptation we have. Today it has something of a cult following, and perhaps ironically, a life it probably never would have had if it had been released in the first place. In 2025, actors Alex Hyde-White, Rebecca Staab, Jay Underwood, and Michael Bailey Smith got a chance to finally be acknowledged by Marvel Studios and have cameo roles in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, thrilling fans who have longed to see these performers be paid their dues for their work and their continuing love and devotion to Marvel’s First Family.

Where can I watch the movie online? It tends to float around YouTube for a while before inevitably getting taken down again, but so far the longest standing link I’ve found is here on the Internet Archive.
Where can I watch the Doomed! documentary? The documentary is here on YouTube, or free to stream on Tubi, Pluto TV, Fandango at Home, and Amazon Prime Video.
Where can I buy a copy of the movie? There are bootlegs everywhere, but I prefer to direct people to the folks who made the Doomed! documentary, who sell affordable copies of both their own doc (so you can directly support them!) and the 1994 film with optional upscaled quality and even a commentary with director Oley Sassone. While there is no official release out there, this is as official as it gets. (This is not an affiliate link, I’m just plugging the best option available.)
Where can I show support for the movie’s release? The actors have a petition set up, campaigning for the official release of the film. While admittedly petitions are never guaranteed to have sway with studios, it’s a good way to stand with everyone who worked on this project and to show Marvel, Disney, etc. that there’s fan interest.

Supporting Character Supplemental - Alicia Master-Grimm
Alicia was blinded as a child in an explosion that claimed the lives of her parents. The accident was actually orchestrated by Alicia’s father’s crooked business partner, Phillip Masters. Masters felt guilty over orphaning and blinding the young girl and he decided to formerly adopt her and raise her as his own daughter.
Alicia moved with her adopted father to Manhattan where she studied at a special school for the blind. Soon, Alicia discovered her passion for sculpture. Phillip Masters became more and more mentally unbalanced. He developed a special type of clay that had the property to control the minds of others. Masters used it to become the super villain known as The Puppet Master. The Fantastic Four became aware of The Puppet Master’s crimes and investigated. He attempted to eliminate the heroes, but Alicia interfered and ended up saving the day.
Alicia would go on to become an artist of great renown. She maintained a relationship with the Fantastic Four and grew especially close with Ben Grimm. The two began dating yet Ben often felt as though Alicia was too good for him and that she was only able to put up with his monstrous appearance because she was blind. This was not the case, however, as Alicia had fallen in love with the man Ben was on the inside regardless of his outward appearance.
Being the girlfriend of The Thing proved an often perilous endeavor. Alicia was kidnapped by the scientists of The Enclave to help them in the creation of ‘Him’ the ultimate being (who would later become Adam Warlock). Later, Alicia earned the attention of The Silver Surfer who saw a nobel beauty and spirit in the young woman.
Some time thereafter, Alicia was abducted and replaced by a Skrull infiltrator named Lyja. Lydia impersonated Alicia for months and during this time fell in love with Johnny Storm. The two ended up getting married, a matter that broke Ben Grimm’s heart. Yet it was not long before Lyja’s ruse was discovered and The Fantastic Four were able to rescue the real Alicia.
After many years of courtship, Alicia and Ben finally became engaged and were married in a small ceremony for which The Fantastic Four went to great lengths to ensure that it was not interrupted by their many adversaries. Ben and Alicia have since adopted two children (one Skrull and one Kree) whom they encountered during the Empyre event.
Actress Kat Green portrayed Alicia Masters in the 1994 Fantastic Four movie; actress Kerry Washington played the character in the 2007 movie, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Alicia first appeared in the pages of Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #8 (1962).
