What was in front of her had made her drop everything she was doing.
"Hi, Kitty Kat. I Need A Favour."
Siege.
Siege was in front of her. Kat couldn't even process this.
"The fuck- WHAT are you doing here?! I thought I got rid of you a few weeks ago!" She stepped back, sweat dropping down her forehead.
"Change Of Plans, Kat. I Need Your Help, Fast. I.. I Have An Offer For You In Return If You Accept My Plea."
The entity was careful with its wording, seemingly fully serious. How could she be sure this wasn't some fluke?
"What's the catch, here--" Siege quickly shut her down with a frigidly long and cold index finger covering her mouth. She wanted to throw up.
"Shh. Let Me Explain. I Have Been Stuck In A Punishment Chamber Since We Last Met, And I've Been Itching To Escape. I Quite Like You, Kat, And I Know You Have Been Recently.. Gaining Attachments."
Kat sighed. "Get to the point, dumbass."
"I Need A Place To Hide. I Have A Familiar Vessel Right Here. I Also Have A Way To Protect You."
This made her perk up.
"I don't like that first part, but.. Protect me? How?"
Siege smiled softly. "By Protecting The Ones You Love. With My Power."
"HOW, SIEGE?"
Its smile faltered.
"Such An Impatient Little Sponge, You Are. Through My Offense Powers, And My Ability To Speak To Fellow Entities, I Can Deter Any Enemies And Calmly End Any Conflicts With Otherworldly Species."
Wow. That was... Honestly a good offer.
