Katherine hung up her phone and started walking towards her (stolen) car. As she spun on her heels, turning around, her body collided with another.

“Can I help you?” Her tone a bit annoyed. She had a job to do and this was slowing her down.

It had not been that her ego had been shattered, but more so that Katherine was getting tired. The trip from New Orleans had been a rough one, filled with heartbreak (which was definitely not her own). Working in her chosen ‘career’ was tiring. If it wasn’t running, it was planning her next escape that lead once again to more running. Beacon’s Harbor wasn’t quite what she expected it to be. A new start oddly began to feel eerily nostalgic, filled with memories that she ached to know- or make believe had happened. Her anxiety sent tremors through her leather stiletto boots, clicking rapidly with each tremor.

Her hands grasped the mug from the diner before her tightly, looking in the dark coffee for some sort of reflection. With a soul as dirtied as hers, it would be able to reflect against this dark of a liquid. The twinned dark eyes stared into the equally tragically brunette drink with a crooked smile. The games had just begun.
