How are people still celebrating this Heart’s Wake thing? At least Valentine’s Day back home had the decency to only stick around for a single day before people got tired of it. Not only are the decorations still floating around, that odd feeling in her head is still lingering as well. Just thinking about it makes her feel ill, she shouldn’t have come out today.
Dragging her gaze up from the pavement, the sight of someone’s bare back in this weather makes her forget about her foul mood for a moment. Damn, those are some decent muscles. Not to mention some nicely fuzzy ears, maybe-
No, no. She needs to get away from people, not start flirting. And yet, she’s already walking in his direction. Oh well.
“Hey there!” she says, leaning towards him . “Haven’t seen you around here before! Trust me, I think I woulda noticed someone like you, I’ve got a... keen eye for specimens like you.”
She winks at him, completely abandoning any kind of subtlety she had before. “You new in town? I’d hate to leave a fella like you all on his lonesome. Nobody should be alone at a time like this, right? What do you think?”
