I’M SOBBING-
Pyramid of Pastas
So, in the Creepypasta Realm, there is a pyramid of power.
From top to bottom it goes Operator, Proxy, Assassin, Killer, Pasta and Victim.
Operator: Runs the mansion/ Guardian or leader of all pastas. Different Operators: Slenderman (Creepypasta Realm), Zalgo (Demon Realm)
Proxy: Works directly on Operator’s orders/ More missions than others Proxies: Kate Night, Ticci Toby (Toby Rogers), Masky (Tim Wright), Hoodie (Brian)
Assassin: Kills with motivation or purpose/ As long as they kill at least once a month, they are not given missions. Assassins: Jane the Killer, Homicidal Lui
Killer: Kills either out of anger or just for the sake of killing/ Can only leave mansion if told so by the Operator Killers: Jeff the Killer, Ben Drowned, Clockwork, EJ
Pasta: Quite like a killer, but they either don’t listen to the Operator’s orders or killed once and only does missions that involve anything but killing. Pastas: LJ, Nina the Killer, Sally Williams
Victim: Anyone who has been killed, tortured or taunted by a person higher on the pyramid.
lmao can you imagine if clem rejects violet and later on the boat violet says to minnie "i can't believe i loved either of you" and minnie goes batshit crazy on clem. violet would be so unlikable so thank god she acts more maturely than kate.
Oh god.
I’m imagining it and I hate it.
Y’know, sometimes I give the final season shit for certain aspects of the romance routes that they failed in, but I can confidently say they didn’t fuck up as bad as ANF did.
Louis and Violet handle Clementine wanting to only be friends more than well. If you remain friends with them, I’m sure they’re sad that Clementine doesn’t feel the same way about them romantically, but they’re HAPPY being best friends with her. Never do they feel bitter towards her because she just wants to be friends. There’s no snarky remarks or passive-aggressive comments. They’re just bros with a strong bond!
Javi tells Kate that she’s his best friend and she’s all “SO THAT ONE TIME YOU SAID YOU MISSED ME MEANT NOTHING?? HOW DARE YOU??”
Can you imagine?
Clementine: I don’t feel that way about you.
Louis/Violet: But... you were nice to me that one time?? And now you’re saying you DON’T feel anything?? YOU’RE A LIAR AND A COWARD AND I’M DONE WITH YOU *SLAPPITY SLAP SLAP*
I hate it.
I don't like how she gets all...switchy.
By ‘switchy’ I assume you mean with Richmond, right? Like how she was so damn desperate to leave and get the hell outta there, even at the risk of their lives... but then she drives into a wall, explodes, and lets walkers in through the gate to eat the people they were trying to get away from.
And suddenly she wants to stay and help.
What do you want Kate?? What changed?? You couldn’t care less if these people were butchered so long as you and Javi got outta there before. Hell, you didn’t really care that they were going to HANG David in front of everyone! You still wanted to bail!
But no, all of a sudden, she’s gotta stay and help these people. Not only that, but after David loses it, beats the shit out of Javi, and then takes Gabe away, she barely shows any concern for Gabe! David I get, but Gabe?? Seriously Kate? If you have Javi and Clementine follow you to save Richmond, then both David and Gabe are dead.
But it’s fine she’ll just have Javi put a new baby in her
Like... I don’t get what they were doing with her other than “Uh-oh, we have to have choices and sides, we’ll just have Kate do a 180. No one will notice!”
Ugh.
You had an opportunity with Kate, y’know. But you just fell flat on your face.
It’s Kate night, y’all!
This should be an interesting one. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about her due to the fact that she’s a romance option and how that whole deal plays out, among other things. So, what do you think of Kate? Do you like her or nah? Do you ship her and Javi, or do you ship her with someone else? Have any favorite moments or headcanons? Let’s chat about it!
I always romance Kate because it makes me less angry at the game. Her romance route wouldn’t even bother me if she told David the truth that she was done with him as soon as they reunited. By not telling him she caused more drama in my opinion.
I agree, anon.
I still don’t like the fact that Kate is Javi’s sister-in-law because that’s still weird to me, but if they just told David the truth from the start then maybe we could’ve avoided some bullshit and I could’ve gotten on board with it.
Of course David’s not gonna love that his brother and wife are smooching, or that said wife doesn’t love him anymore and moved on because she thought he was dead, but maybe he could’ve come to terms with it if you were fucking honest.
It’s not gonna be a fun conversation, but I bet it’s a whole lot better than taking that wrench to the face, y’know?
Kate's one giant flaw is how she reacts with rejection. If you reject her, she turns into this character that I do not know and will not accept. Unless you do everything possible to not give her the right idea, but even then... she turns into a bitch and it makes me sad.
Ugh... the rejection.
Like, I get it. it totally sucks when the person you’re into doesn’t return those feelings. I 100% understand what it’s like to lay your feelings out there only to have the other person be like “Yeah..... no.” and that’ll make you bitter, angry, embarrassed, and a million other things.
However, something about the way they wrote it makes her feel like a dumb teenager rather than an adult woman. She’s allowed to feel these things, but even when Javi lets her down gently and lets her know that he loves her as family, she still ends up telling DAVID, who at this point is two seconds away from cracking, she can’t believe she had feelings for either of them....
Like... CAN YOU NOT.
I can handle you not taking rejection like it doesn’t bother you, especially if Javi did lead you on, but that’s just... it’s bullshit. They really failed Kate when it came to writing that part of her character.
And I have a feeling it’s because the game was like “No, romancing Kate is the correct route. If you don’t romance her, you get the bad end. We don’t make the rules- You’re gonna love Kate whether you like it or not.”
And that’s stupid and bad writing.
Ya ruined a perfectly good character with this nonsense.
Y’know, I’m actually kind of on the same page as you. If they completely threw out the romance nonsense between her and Javi and let her do her own thing as a character without the end goal of boning Javi, I would’ve liked her much more.
Because really, she’s got some funny lines. She’s got some quirk, some sarcasticness to her that I enjoy. If they actually went with her and Javi as JUST FRIENDS, then I could’ve enjoyed their relationship much more.
She’s funny, she’s flawed, she’s caring, she’s stubborn, she’s a lot of great things that totally get overlooked because ANF failed her.
Hate Kate or not you gotta admit she fine tho 👀
Pffft-
Haha something about this ask makes me laugh.
Sure, okay. I’ll admit it. I may not be Kate’s biggest fan, but I do think she’s super attractive as far as physical appearance goes.
It’s when we start getting into her behavior and the way the writers we just bad at writing her that she becomes much less attractive, in my opinion.
