Kate Jones Products Review Part 1

I think this is the first product that I bought online before. I used this 3 years ago already, but I can still remember the effects of the products. ;)

I used the Beautifying Factor package of Kate Jones. It costs PHP 1,210 and it consists of:

Mild Skin Cleanser

Super Sun Block

Acne Gel

Coco Puro

Kojic Soap

Night Repair Cream

Cream Reliever

Just a note: My skin is oily with lots of small pimples (I don't know what they're called) in the forehead before I used this. I also have occasional big pimples on my face.

My morning regimen:

I wash my face with Mild Skin Cleanser first.

After that, I use Kojic Soap.

Then I apply Acne Gel for the big pimples on my face if I have one.

After that, I apply Cream Reliever for the small pimples on my forehead.

And I finish it off with Super Sun Block.

My evening regimen:

I remove everything first using Coco Puro. I let it stay for 15-30 minutes as I've read that Coco Puro is a good moisturizer.

Then I use the Kojic Soap to wash it off.

After that I apply the Night Repair Cream on my face. I just apply it thinly since putting too much caused pimples for the others (read it in the forums) and I didn't want to risk my face just because it's a habit of mine to put lots of it on my face.

Then I use the Acne Gel if needed.

And lastly, I put Cream Reliever for my small pimples.

Mild Skin Cleanser

This cleanser is like Cetaphil, though it is cheaper. It is really mild and I didn't break out or anything with this product. However, I didn't really like the consistency of the cleanser. After washing it with water, I don't feel that my face is clean, though I think it cleanses well.

Super Sun Block

This is the first sunblock that I've used ever since. I actually didn't care about the existence of sunblocks for the face. Haha. I love that this sunblock just gives this matte effect after applied on the face, and it controls the oiliness of my face. However, I didn't like the shade before, I think it's too brown and pinkish for my face, but I kept using it because I love the smell, and because I learned that I need to use sunblock on my face.

Just a little note: Before, there is only one shade of this sunblock but now there are 3 shades of this already.

Acne Gel

This Acne Gel is like Differin, I think. Or benzoyl-something? Sorry I forgot the name. Its job is to treat those big pimples and prevent them from growing further that might lead to a popped pimple that will cause acne scars/marks.

What I loved about this is that it's effective. If I have a new pimple on my face and I applied it, after 2-3 days the pimple is already dry.

Coco Puro

This is VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil). They said that coconut oil is really good for the face as a moisturizer, toner, make-up remover and other things. I didn't like this because it's oily and I think that my face will become more oily, but it didn't make me more oily, so there. It's so good because my face felt really soft and supple from using this.

Kojic Soap

This soap is said to whiten the skin, but it comes off with minor peeling so you have to really used lots of moisturizer on your face, and to use sunblock because you will get really burnt if you don't.

The first time I used the soap, it stung. But after that, it didn't sting anymore so I continued using it. I didn't break out from this soap, and I noticed very minor peelings on my face. It didn't burn my skin too. I saw that my face become whiter with a glow. I also loved the scent of this soap.

Night Repair Cream

This cream was the talk of the town when I bought it. It prevents acne from forming, and they say that it gives you rosy cheeks.

I loved this cream because it didn't break me out, it made my face smoother, and it really gave me somehow rosy cheeks.

Cream Reliever

This cream is to be used for irritations, if any occurred, during the use of the set. I didn't have any hopes for this cream because from the description, it's just for that. However, someone told me that it can be used for small pimples, so I applied it day and night, not really caring if it's effective or not.

And in just a month, I think, I just realized that those small pimples on my forehead are already gone! I couldn't believe it. Those nasty small bumps cleared up like magic, really.

After I finished using the set, I bought many different products from Kate Jones, and it will be reviewed on the second part of this review.
