Even without the money to attend college, she was determined to escape, and so, at 18 she packed her bags and moved out to California to try her luck in LA. It's years before her Instagram suddenly takes off, and she finds herself with a little blue check next to her new name: Birdie.
With brands flooding her inbox with requests and random teenage girls stopping her to request a selfie, KT's living the life she's always dreamed of. So it doesn't make sense that running into her small town's other golden child running down the San Diego beach would rattle her as much as it does.
