Meg and Jack
Last year I was photographing this lovely couple at their wedding, and now I get to photograph Meg’s pregnancy! We spent the afternoon at Jack’s childhood home and chased the sun up the hill. It’s been slowly lovely to start watching this little family grow and an absolute pleasure to be capturing it. All the love to you both, can’t wait to meet Baby Wilks!

I was glad that this beautiful little family was given a voucher of mine! Marni asked if we could do an Autumn shoot, which I loved the idea of but I knew getting the right time was essential. Luckily after a weekend of rain the sun was shining and I was able to get some photos of this lovely family among the leaves and sun! Of course I knew I wouldn’t have to worry about my subjects. Marni and Sam have gorgeous children! Kialah and Lewie are vibrant, energetic and kept me laughing throughout the shoot. After a bit of a break from family photos this was a great way to get back into it!
Annabel and Luke's Wedding November 7th 2014
Annabel is one of those people who always put others before her self. Her kindness shines through, and I was especially touched when she offered to move her speeches back so I could go home earlier (which only made me want to stay longer). Luke, who seemed quiet on my arrival, soon came to life, making jokes with his groomsmen while they dressed. He had also equipped them with walkie talkies and pocket watches, which in my opinion is everything a groomsman could want at a wedding.
From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed and at ease. All day Annabel, Luke and their families made sure I was okay, that I had enough water and asked me regularly if I wanted something to eat. This is the kind of wedding you dream of shooting.
The ceremony was held at the Tiona's Green Cathedral. An amazing outdoor setting that over looked the Lake as the sunset. The ceremony was held by Annabel’s youth minister, who added a lovely personal touch and gave the couple gifts before they shared their vows.
The reception followed at the Conference Centre on the grounds. Games were set up on the lawn while I stole the couple away for some photos. The main room was filled with cutely decorated tables including gorgeous tiles for place cards. An amazing desert table was on display, with cakes and macaroons made the bride's family and friends.
I couldn’t of asked for a better way to spend my weekend on the coast. Thank you so much for letting me share your special day Luke and Annabel. Congratulations, and I hope you’re still smiling like you were on your special day in 50 years times.
Elijah's Christening

Natasha and Jay's Wedding March 1st 2014
Natasha and Jay’s wedding was a dream to photograph. They had planned the perfect day, down to their own instagram hashtag (#natashajay2014). Despite the clouds rolling in and a few drops of rain the couple got married outside at the Tumut Showground. The ceremony flowed into the reception, with a snack table for the guests while I stole the bridal party away for photos.
The couple decorated the Showground themselves, including a custom made alter (which people have already asked to rent). Wild flowers, cute jars and wire birds personalized the reception room, along with photos of the couple growing up and a fabulous cake (made by the fantastic Carnival Cakes!) to match the bridal parties outfits.
