Parano has never really been... all that bold. She's always preferred staying on the sidelines, where it was safe. Usually, she would wait until it was nearly morning and less people were out to go shopping, but she had recently caught wind of an especially rare copy of her favorite Eastern Alternian comic book series being sold in a local comic book store, in a more run-down side of town. It's a bit of a risk, but she could never forgive herself if she let this opportunity slide! So she decided to go as soon as possible, which happened to be at night.

After finally acquiring the book, she steps outside onto the sidewalk... Which is slick with rain. She slips and falls with a yelp, and the book goes flying! She manages to snatch it up fairly quickly, but it's already pretty damaged by the acidic rain...
