Hi Kat! (Sorry, I couldn’t come up with anything that rhymed with your name!)

Thank you so much! For fic planning, I’m big on outlining, whether it’s a one-shot or a multi-chapter story. I don’t necessarily write a super detailed outline, but I generally like to know the beginning and the end, even if only vaguely, before I start writing.

In Pulse, for example, I had five basic points I wanted to have: 1. Cosima and Delphine meet; 2. Cos gets assigned to Sarah; 3. Cos realizes her target is Delphine; 4. Cos keeps getting in the way of Sarah making a match for Delphine; and 5. Cosima and Delphine hook up (not like that). And that was it! I actually typed in #5 just like that in my doc file and twig-height, who beta read as I wrote, laughed when she saw it. haha The rest I just filled in as the mood struck.

Same goes for 03:24:21. I have a basic outline for what I want to happen in each chapter, and then each chapter itself has an outline of scenes I want to include.

important question: are your deleted scenes on ao3 or just tumblr? I haven't started hsau yet bc i have a reading assignment for school and that's literally taking SO LONG UGH. Anyhow when I do start, I want to get the whole experience
