Thank you! I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to see it myself because I was like, “this is either going to be kind of… Depressing? Or it’s totally not going to be what actually happened.” I was curious about what they were gonna do.

Oh no problem! And just a final thing, the heart of the movie really isn't about the relationship between Disney and Travers, but more so about her relationship with her father (hence the title Saving Mr. Banks) which is probably why the flashbacks were my favorite bits of the movie (even though they were the saddest bits)

Well in the movie they did keep with the whole Walt Disney not inviting her to the premiere bit where she basically had to confront him and invite herself. Now I don’t know much about the full truth of what happened between Travers and Disney, but the whole movie really did revolve around the idea of Disney being able to somewhat win her over with Disney magic. I think what I enjoyed most about the film was all the flashbacks to her childhood and how it influenced her and her characters. But overall I thought they movie was wonderful, even though the ended it on a positive note (which is exact opposite of what happened between the real Travers and Disney)
