(what the heck is the Punctum Project? read me!)
January 2, 2015 - Broadway Caroline Bowman, Kara Lindsay, Matt Shingledecker Kathy Fitzgerald (Morrible)
What:
[Glinda pulls away from Morrible's grip when Morrible stops her from approaching Elphaba]
How Come:
Kara Lindsay's Glinda is such a sweetheart, and for her to do this dramatic UNHAND ME! motion is probably about as spicy as she gets I'm proud of her
that said, she does it pretty often -- and it is otherwise a deeper cut in the Glinda oeuvre, in part because it requires a Morrible who will actually lay hands on her here and most Morribles just give her the stink eye or kind of hold their arm out so she won't think about it
I'm not surprised Kathy was game though because she and Kara were/are besties

sirwestaytay: first virtual reading of our play. maybe my favorite couple hours of the last couple months.
In a podcast I was listening to, Kathy Fitzgerald claims that her character of dumb ol' Mrs. Gloop thought the Oompa Loompas were puppies. Hence, why she tried to feed them wieners.
All I have to add to that is that it reminds me of this line from The Big Bang Theory:
Sheldon:
[Penny and I] had dinner last night. She made me spaghetti with little hot dogs. I like spaghetti with little hot dogs. Well, a hot dog. I gave up the other 5 hot dogs to a real dog. A real big dog. A hell hound. There'll be a tangent line at the end, it's not important.
