Kathy and Eileen is incredible yuri, like from first impressions I got Kathy rain badass cool girl and Eileen as the innocent christian...

And then the game keeps going and Eileen is just kinda insane, she knows things about Kathy that Kathy never shared, she just showed up at her grandma's house cause Kathy didn't go back to the dorm and she is super excited about lying to a priest(it's ok Jesus will forgive her cause he loves her)

I really hope they lesbian kiss by the end(Jesus would also forgive her for that)

so far my favorite thing abt 2 is that kathy and eileen have the exact kind of wretched yet hypnotic chemistry you usually only see between like the worlds saddest wettest most pathetic man and his bitch ex wife

MY THOUGHTS ON THE GAME (TLDR at the end) ok so i absolutely adored soothsayer. i think it was an amazing expansion on the original. while the original kathy rain was about kathy accepting and letting go of her past, soothsayer is kathy acknowledging and working on her flaws in the present. i LOVED the expansion on the character of doppelganger kathy. she really became more of her own person, and i found her attachment to the doppelganger version of kathy's parents really interesting. her quest for revenge starting kathy's own quest for revenge was so bittersweet, and to me she really felt like a genuine reflection of kathy's flaws rather than simply an evil version of her. i really liked the timeskip! i enjoyed the realism of kathy not being an immediate success both in her job and being a healthier person. her relationship with eileen was so sweet. i felt like their reconnection was a little rushed, but it makes sense considering their bond and the fact that the game is more focused on the mystery solving. its clear that eileen and kathy have a very deep friendship, and i loved how well they worked together in the end. gameplay wise, i had a great time! the art style was gorgeous, and the puzzles were challenging without being insanely difficult. the malleable was my favorite location in the game, and i think the challenges there were even better than in the og, ESPECIALLY eric's section. although it was more of a classic whodunnit than a ghost story, i really really enjoyed it! (TLDR: kathy rain 2 is really good u should play it)
