18. Movies or Books? books

13. What’s your favorite memory? i don’t have a particular favorite. anything i can look back on and think “heh, that was fun” is a good memory and i don’t rank my fun times from “favorite” to “least favorite” or anything. a recent fun memory: reading a Cars 2 children’s book aloud to Megan and Cass in silly accents (and pretty much losing my voice because of the growly angry voice i gave Francesco). like, that was a super fun memory and i will never not look back on that and smile, but i’m not going to say that reading a stupid book in stupid accents is my favorite memory of all time either lol

What’s your favorite book? oh jeez oh jeez i can’t answer this question. i’m always afraid that the fact that i can’t pick a favorite book while i CAN pick a favorite movie (empire strikes back) makes me look like i’m not well-read or something, when the opposite is true: i read so damn much that i cannot pick a single favorite. i do have a special place in my heart for ‘gödel, escher, bach: an eternal golden braid' tho, it's an absolutely mind-blowing book but it's very sciencey/mathsy and it is definitely not for everyone

35. Opinion on love? people take it too seriously. i think it’s okay to be totally into lots of things/people/etc., and to enjoy them as carelessly and recklessly as you want, and call all of those things ‘love’ without being all ~srs bsns~ about it.

39. Do you love someone? sure thing. i am really sarcastic and cynical and things like “ugh i hate EVERYONE” come out of my mouth a lot, but if you’re my friend then i will love you completely. wow that sounded creepy umm hopefully you know what i mean though

It wasn't exactly said to me, but my mom bought me this custom-made paperwieght in the shape of a star and it said "Sarah, to be a star you must shine with your own light and follow your own path"

And that meant a lot to me bc at the time I just let people make decisions for me and walk all over me
