Oh man. I’m not sure why I’ve fabricated so many headcanons about this obligator nerd, but probably because I really ended up liking him and then things snowballed from there. 

First of all, he’s gay--it’s part of the reason he joined the Obligators, because it provided a way for him to remove himself from the balls and expectations of courting and romance. I figure that the Final Empire culture was fairly heteronormative, more so because of the imperative to pass along allomantic bloodlines, so he was trying to remove himself as much from that as possible by joining the Obligators. 

He has a habit of getting crushes on the worst possible people in any situation (the Lord Ruler, Elend...). He is fully aware of this fact and hates it, and usually deals with it by ignoring it. 

After the end of HoA, he was the one who helped set up some of the crucial infrastructure of what became Elendel, because nobody else had any real idea how to set up infrastructure. This also means that he ends up working pretty closely with what’s left of the crew, although neither of them really liked each other at first. 

Shifted the focus of Sliverism--as its main adherent--from the Lord Ruler more towards Marsh, as Steris makes a comment in AoL about how Sliverism “reveres Ironeyes.” 

For that matter, probably got along decently with Marsh when Marsh was out of mind control.

He did disagree with the Crew on, like, everything but over time the debates he got into with them became less out of vitriol and more out of habit. 

Allrianne likes messing with him. He hates this. 

Eventually ended up marrying, even though he never expected to--he married a trans guy and the pair of them founded House Yomen, which we also see in AoL.
