This is for all the super observant fans who found my easter eggs in the writing video. That takes some dedication You guys rock!

Here is the full scene I was talking about in the video. As you can see LOTS of things changed from this scene to the final show! When I cast Katie Orr as the part of Riley, we worked together to change Riley's backstory so it fit more with her own personality and history. The plan now is to reveal this new backstory in season two and I really don't want to spoil that for you, because I think it is going to be super cool to actually see it happen! What was important for me to discover in this scene is the emotion young Riley feels when she discovers she has this power. This emotion sets her on the path to becoming the Riley you see in the episodes.

As for my character arc breakdown for season two...yes that was also in the video, but if this script is any indication, things change!! Big time! I did that awhile ago and although you can glean some hints of where some of the characters might be going, things are much different now and I promise there aren't any real spoilers in that outline. It does show a bit of my process though, for all you aspiring writers out there.
