Any indoor track options? It’s crazy windy here, so many branches down in the backyard!

I think the YMCA has an indoor track. And so does U of T. I don’t know anything about either. I should look into them before the winter.

I had friends come with me to my lupus appointments (a l l o f t h e m) for the longest time. they aren't even related to me or emergency contacts or anything!

Not weird at all! I think it's weirder that my mom doesn't come with me to my "big" appointments (she can't since she lives across the country).

I had a parent at each and every one of my cancer followups until I got married. Not weird at all. Sometimes it's really nice to have a second set of ears.

My mom comes with me to all of my GI appointments. She always knows what to ask when I forget!

I'm married and still want my mommy to come to all my appointments! Lol

Okay, good to know I’m not the only one! Mainly, I like my dad being there because he’s been a nurse for my whole life and so he knows what to listen for when the doctor is talking and what questions to ask. Ultimately, I still make the decisions about my health but his guidance, opinions, and input have been invaluable.

New URL Alert!

I picked fitenoughtotri when I first found tumblr and was into the whole fitblr thing, but now that my focus has moved away from being traditionally ‘fit’, I figured it was time for a new URL as well.  My fitness focus now is on being the best swimmer, biker, runner, and triathlete that I can be, so I decided to pick an URL that would go along with that. 

I’m not sure if I’m sold on katie-tris, so it may change again in the coming while, but for now it will have to do!
