9. What age were you given “the talk?”

Oddly enough, I don’t remember being a specific age where my parents actually sat down and talked to me about how people happen.  Not sure if that was because my mom and (step)dad are in medical professions so they didn’t make a big deal about it all at once, or because they got distracted by all the divorce stuff and just figured I’d learn about it in health class or something.  Actually, we had a lot of books lying around and when I was 7 or 8 year old I read this entire baby book of my mom’s and kind of inferred it, among other things.

Meanwhile my ex-dad and ex-stepmom’s idea of The Talk was to rent a children’s book from the library when I was 13 or 14 and just leave it out when my brother and I went to visit them. :/  It wasn’t very effective.

13. What’s one slang term you refuse to use? 

I guess any kind of really offensive slur, if that counts as slang.
