This is an ask not a submission because I very sadly did not get a picture but I feel like the story is funny enough, and it's still car identification adjacent. Last month I was walking by my town's police station and at the end of the block someone had parked a rather nice BRZ in a no parking area, so there was unsurprisingly someone who seemed to be a traffic cop trying to fill a ticket out, but the guy was circling the car with the most baffled look on his face. I walk past the car and look back. So the back of the car was missing the BRZ badge, but did have the subaru badge... but the front was badged as a toyota, which isn't really inaccurate, but the average person probably doesn't know that the gr86 is basically the same car. The front end looked like a BRZ outside of the badge swap, but if they changed both the badges idk if I'd have questioned it at glance either.
Given the obvious location they parked in, I have to wonder if they parked there on purpose to intentionally troll the cops when they tried to figure out what the fuck they were trying to write a ticket for. Either way it was hilarious and made my day so I thought I'd share.
