It’s wonderful that so many people are taking the chance with their business to stand for something they believe in.. it’s easy to make a donation or volunteer or write about how strongly you feel. Starting and maintaining a business is not easy, on every level imaginable. But it is the most amazing and beautiful thing in the world to see the happiness of others and know you were a part of making that happen. We made it. One of the biggest milestones in a #smallbusiness life is the one year mark. Today December 11th is that day. We could write pages about how loved and supported Katora has been this past year but it could never truly represent how humbled and grateful we are to be a part of this community. Fredericksburg and surrounding towns have embraced our family as one of their own and allowed us to be ourselves with no judgement or shame. This shop represents a huge leap forward in tolerance and potential for society as a whole to share space and ideas. For youth and their elders to express themselves without the fear of someone telling them they are wrong for doing so.
