Before I applied the tints and effects, it had a softer, watercolor look. I enjoyed rendering this way because it reminded me of that raw feeling when I was still doing traditional art.

But I knew I had to (and wanted to) put the tints to separate how the two sides felt, and the effects to bring the point home.

Artworks require a lot of decisions ^^;

A lot has happened along the way this year, like having some unfortunate experiences with clients that became lessons, having great people giving me advice on what to do and supporting me all the way, a huge avalanche of support, the threat of unauthorized image editing and unpaid commissions.

So much worry in my mind. So much gratitude in my heart.

Despite the doubts and worry, I will still do my best. Still, I will do commissions and post art.

Currently

I'm in isolation after receiving the radioiodine treatment for my thyroid issue. I'll probably be out by Saturday, and I'll be able to draw again by then!

Meanwhile, during this isolation, I realized I really, truly like Hachisuka Kotetsu, especially since Dai played him as the lead in a stageplay.

Such a pretty sword. He might be my strongest bias yet.

(I wanna redraw this or just, draw DaHachi because wow so radiant so pretty aaa)

And Dai is supposed to come back as Jyobu this month. My feelings are all over the place.

I'm kat. I used to have a tumblr like decade ago or less.

Currently I'm under medication to have my thyroid 'destroyed' lol. But I'm also in the process of gaining new skills to find work.

Health Update

I'll be having blood tests tomorrow, and a check-up next week.

If all goes well, I'll be undergoing the thyroid procedure afterwards. Then be in isolation for a few days uu

I appreciate everyone who has helped me manage my meds and tests with your continuous patronage of my art uu. And those who are planning to do so, even by just sharing.
