If I had a nickel for every time Katy Townsend voiced a cute lesbian character with ginger hair and bangs, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

I don't think Maddie is a mole,

not for ambessa nor for the black rose.

tbh I hadn't really formed an opinion before today's watch party (hosted by Not-So-Averge-Fangirl with Arcane writer, Amanda Overton and the voice actor of Maddie, Katy Townsend).

Before it I did think Maddie being a mole was a possibility but, as I said before, I didn't have a strong opinion on the matter. Now I do:

Amanda said that Maddie, when she is with Caitlyn, works as an angel in her shoulder, against Ambessa who is the devil in her shoulder. Which, means she's probably not Ambessa's servant or something (of course, Arcane is unpredictable, maybe I'm wrong in assuming this) and she is actually as good as she seems.

And to be honest I think this version of Maddie is a lot more interesting that just being a mole. I'm excited to see her interact with Caitlyn and react to how Caitlyn and Vi's relationship will develop. I think her character might be pretty interesting from this angle.

Cait in Fallout 4 voiced by Katy Townsend

Just finished episode 4, Act 2 of Season 2 of ‘Arcane: League Of Legends’. That one was very confusing.

First of all - Caitlyn cheated on Vi with Maddie. Certainly didn’t expect that. That was a low blow. Where did that come from? Is she that careless?

Also whatever was going on with Jinx’s storyline this episode aside from the usual craziness just didn’t make sense to me. Unless I’m missing something. I probably am. Is she… turning into a heroine? But why? What’s her motivation to? Just interacting with that mute child? There’s people in the underground… looking up to her? Depending on her? What?! I thought she was ‘the jinx’? I mean I’m sympathetic towards the character because of her mental illness and severe trauma but that was a bit much to take in and take seriously. I didn’t get that.

It was cute, don’t get me wrong but just a bit left field. I mean out of nowhere people start regarding her with respect. Even Sevika. I guess it will be revealed to me as I continue watching. Right now I’m really confused. 🤨

I was able to meet the lovely Katy Townsend aka the voice of Maddie at AnimeCon, and of course she’s a fellow member of Jayvik nation 😏

I was like “um, do you ship Jayce & Viktor? 😳” and she was like “of course 😏” lmaoooo. honestly she was so lovely and she gifted a signed Maddie print to all 8 of us who organised the Arcane stamp rally 🥹💖

This just clicked for me: Katy Townsend voices Maddie in Arcane, but also voices a character named Cait in Fallout. Cait... who is a cage fighter!

There's a character with a Scottish accent in the new season of Arcane, and I'm unreasonably pleased with myself for clocking it in one syllable spoken from off screen.

(The syllable was "Vi" so I wondered at first if it was Caitlyn with her Scottish voice actor's real accent slipping out like it does occasionally.)
