Just received news of my film's FIRST festival selection !! I feel like a proud parent watching their kid go out into the world.

'Contact' will be screened at Womanimation!, a one day festival in Rhode Island showcasing animated films created by women around the world.

Yesterday - Day 1 of my new #90minDirectedbyWomen film viewing practice - included Katy Wang’s animated short The Dangers of Being Dutiful (The School of Life) on Vimeo. And I watched the first 10 minutes of Olive Kitteridge - Episode One: Pharmacy directed by Lisa Cholodenko on disc from my local public library.  Will dive in to watch more of the mini-series soon. And I look forward to enjoying more of Katy Wang’s work as well.

Poster designs I made for my film ! These are all roughs of different ideas and in the end I decided to go with the pink background one as my main poster, which has been printed A1 size and will be displayed at the More graduate show at the Bargehouse, London, this month.
