I don’t think the StEx fandom uses the facts that they are Electra’s COMPONENTS enough
Meaning ‘a part or element of a larger whole, especially a part of a machine or vehicle,’ or ‘constituting part of a larger whole’
I NEED to see that engine failing to exist without them. I NEED to see them breaking down and not coping when at least one component isn’t with them and vice versa
I wanna see this fandom really lean in to the whole ‘components’ thing

when hsr devs said in a livestream they regret the decision of packing the entire story of penacony into a few short patches and wanted to make it longer i get sad. all the extra sunday scenes and exposition we could have gotten

Its such a non issue but it lowkey annoys me when there’s a bit of choreo where they form trains but there isn’t an engine at the front?

In the StEx universe, it’s tradition to have one of these.
Except you can buy plain ones in multiple shapes, different engines, coaches and trucks
You can paint your stock that matches you, and all trucks are compatible with all engines and each other, so you can customise your christmas tree train!
If you don’t have an engine to add, you can buy default Christmassy ones, same with coaches and trucks! Multiple engines can go on the rails (if you time it right)
