“Kaaras, I know we joked about cuddling and everything but this wasn’t what I meant.” 

Varric coughed into his hand in attempt to further break the silence. Hugs weren’t something that he was unused to and yet here he was now slightly shocked by action. Slowly he wrapped his arms around the Qunari as much as he could and kissed Kaaras’s chest. The action seemed to get some sort of a response but he wasn’t up for figuring out what it was.

He wasn’t sure why this happened so suddenly, but who was he to complain?

Mahanon picked his head up from the bed, blankets fisted in his hands as there was a sudden loud crack and the angle dramatically shifted.
