Inktober Day 6 Was drawing my derp of a dog during class to keep myself awake last night (why am I still up at 3 am? Oh yeah, midterms). I promise the fan art will come soon, if anyone has been waiting for that. Kaycie's still not doing great, so...yeah :/

sooo. kaycie is intersex. he has OT-DSD, and likely also has some sort of mosaicism, although he was assigned as male. this doesn't matter too much, although it IS interesting to note that no surgery was ever performed on him after he was born, and it was mostly genuinely because his mother is Insane and she thinks that kaycie being born as he is means he is an angel, and so she thinks he's perfect just the way he is <3 (his mother also wholeheartedly believes he was a virgin birth, which, he was not. she was just assaulted in her sleep, but her then boyfriend just went along with it. (they were waiting for marriage.)(they are married now.) so like. yeah she kinda thinks kaycie is an actual angel that was sent from heaven. so. yknowww.) anyhow. while kaycie appreciates his mother's... optimism, it definitely does not save him from the fact that he's very insecure over this part of himself! he's dated a fair amount of times, and he figures, at least by his best example (audrien) that he shouldn't be a virgin by now, but it's like. he has a hard time ever really letting himself. Try. i think sometimes he wishes he Would've gotten some kind of surgery as a child, but like. at the same time he figures he probably wouldn't have been happy with that either. it's not even just his that though, he's just kinda insecure about his masculinity as a whole, really. like. not THAT much. he's okay with having to dress up girly for church, and he doesn't usually mind what people call him so much, but then it's like. he has a lot of trouble with how people his age perceive him, and then, more so, how audrien perceives him. audrien has a tendency to make a lot of jokes and jabs that make fun of kaycie's masculinity, mostly as a result of it being like, 2003, but either way, it's like. that's just kind of his humor. not to mention how often he just calls kaycie any variation of 'gay', like. Especially in Public. In Public At School. In Front Of Other Teens. He Is Calling Kaycie A Fag In Front Of Like Five Teenage Girls. AND IT'S FUCKING EMBARRASSING !!! on one hand it's a whole thing because kaycie actually Has confusing manipulated kicked dog best friend feelings for audrien. on the other, it's because those feelings are reciprocated when they're alone, so it's just More Confusing. and on the THIRD HAND, it IS because it totally just takes any sense of masculinity or pride kaycie has and tosses it underhand into the trash. like daaamn dude ok ... Ok... we are So not equals, I see... (audrien has no idea why the hell kaycie would ever assume they were,) but like yeah it causes a whole issue where kaycie just. oooh bear it. keep bearing it. this is how friendship works! you will never be man enough to be an equal and you will never be woman enough to be a lover (smirk) cut yourself about it you stupid emofag

New character, inspired by Bloody Roar, Kaycie is a fighter who participates in combat tournaments, nicknamed "the armadillo fighter" because of her effective blocking, she does not use her armadillo beast form in this occassion, but when the situation is dangerous, she transforms and her strength is increased tenfold.
