Some interesting stuff I found on the interwebs.
So first off, I want to explain how management companies work.
For example, I’ll use my management company. We will call them Wish Talent Management. Under Wish Talent Management, there are four talent managers; Ken, Ann, Margo, and Lisa (obvi fake names lol). Ann & Margo are co-founders. Ann handles a lot of the logistical stuff, like data, headshots etc. She also helps with submitting clients. Margo is strictly a manager, has her own set of clients that she makes money from. The same goes for Ken & Lisa. We as clients all sign the same contracts, BUT we don’t work with the other managers, only specifically with our own. Meaning even though Ann & Margo are founders, all things in regards to the management of my career, I speak directly to my manager, Lisa, and only Lisa.
This is a part from TTB’s “tea” that she posted yesterday.
The video they are referring too is an interview type situation she did with Naomi Campbell in which she states that Penni is her manager and since she didn’t SBP, this means that she is no longer with Scooter.
Well my dear TTB & Kaylor’s, SCOOTER NEVER WAS KARLIE’S MANAGER. Like ever. Since she joined SBP her manager has been Penni Thow, and Penni Thow only; as shown below from her IMBD profile. This can only be seen if you have IMBD Pro.
For you none believers and photoshop accusers here is a bigger snap shot of her profile.
Further proof, here is how “Manager” appears for Justin Bieber.
Notice how his manager is only marked as Scooter Braun himself.
Now if you look at Scooter’s Instagram, he highlights his clients A LOT. IT makes up most of his feed. The times when he has acknowledge Karlie career wise has been rare.
Out of all those times, 2 were business ventures that he helped produce, 2 were just a simple congratulations because they are friends, and the last is a birthday. There is additional post of them traveling together and at Karlie’s second wedding party.
Now if we look at Penni’s, her instagram reflects Scooter’s in that she only posts about her clients aka Karlie and from what I’m gathering Ashley Graham.
There is also a lot of personal posts of them together traveling, at events and other career ventures.
Basically what I am saying is, that Penni Thow leaving SBP and Karlie possibly doing the same means nothing as Karlie never was under Scooter’s management in the first place. She’s always been under Penni so it would make sense she would want to continue her venture in the same manner. WITH THAT BEING SAID, there is no actual proof that Penni has started her own management company NOR that Karlie has left SBP.
So for those of you that like to say I don’t do my research about the things TTB say, MAYBE YOU ALL SHOULD DO RESEARCH BEFORE TRUSTING YOUR FAVORITE.
Also this is random but Scooter produced The Giver, lol the irony of Taylor being in the film.
