This album is about how two men broke her heart just months apart and how she was quite literally going through a mental breakdown while trying to put on a front while performing for millions of people on a world tour but you wouldn’t know that because you’re either so caught up in trying to figure out who each song is about or your so caught up in your hate for her that you’d rather make fun of her in her most vulnerable, raw, and honest state just to make yourself feel better

Agreed! The wave of love she received during the US leg of the Eras Tour was amazing. She created such a special time for girls and women.

What are they doing about an album being about Matty? I’ve seen some Gaylors saying, “we thought it was Karlie when this whole time it was Matty. Now End Game makes sense. I was shocked at first. Then when I got to listen to everything legally, I was SATISFIED. And then proud of her. I can’t believe she put herself out there in such a vulnerable way, looking pretty bad in various ways in this climate?!?! My god that takes balls. Especially at the height she’s at now.

Listen, I fully get Matty. I’ve had a Matty. I’ve had two, sorta. And I’ve had a Joe. And I’m over 40. I get this shit. I get nuance. I get growing up and it hurting and realizing hard truths about a guy you fantasized and built up in your head. I relate to it so much. I just can’t believe she put it out there. And good for her for admitting she was a huge part of the problem and it was self inflicted wounds.
