Krau, Ras, Mort, and Kayron with gn!reader who loves hugs and/or cuddles but is too shy to ask for it
anon; Hello! Thank you so much for doing epic seven headcanons (the reader who has trouble falling asleep) ! I really liked it! May I request headcanons about Krau, Ras, Mort and Kayron with gender neutral reader who loves hugs and/or cuddles, but is too shy to ask for it? Thank you in advance!
Krau
Krau seems to read your mind
Not really, but he can tell when you want to be hugged and/or cuddled
When you’re with him in the public eye/when he’s working, he’ll have his arm around your shoulder or waist to tell “Later <3″
It really happens when you’re alone
because the media is obviously going to assume something
and the people around are obviously going to get tired of it and make too many unnecessary comments
the king of taranor has to keep some sort of honorable reputation yknow
loves hugs and cuddles
esp at night, it’s very relaxing at him
you could just spend hours of him holding you and softly talking under the moonlight, enjoying each other’s warmth
Ras
Ras is great at telling when you wanna cuddle/hug (just not as good as Krau)
all of his worries go away and you can see that certain soft smile on his face
will be willing to spend the whole day cuddling as long as there are no prior plans that need to be accompished
ras has the most calming touches you can’t tell me otherwise
it does take him a while to get used to it
at first he’d get like embarrased
but once he gets used to it it’s the most relaxing thing ever
100% quality time 100/10 would recommend
Mort
In public, Mort is similar to Krau (a little)
he’ll wrap his arm around you
and give that signature smirk of his- he loves showing that to you
when you’re alone, he will tease you
mort loves teasing you 100%
loves when you’re embarrassed, he thinks it’s very cute
will tease you about wanting cuddles but will definitely give them to you
Karyon
I’m sorry to say that this man doesn’t really like cuddles that much
he prefers acts of service + gift giving much more
I don’t know, I just think that he just feels awkward with them
he’s kinda embarrassed about it
over time may accommodate
won’t really reciprocate much but can learn to love you cuddling him
hugging in public is a no he dislikes that- he gets too embarrassed
will do/buy something as a replacement for that tho
@definetlynotseren; About the random event thing, can you please do appreciative for kayron? Thank you
Kayron acts like he doesn’t like you expressing your appreciation for him, but he really likes it
It acts as reassurance that you love him for the way he is
His love language is gift giving, and so he loves it when you give him gifts. Even Kayron likes getting gifts- most preferably useful gifts.
He doesn’t usually show his appreciation back, though it really is definitely there. You kind of just have to be able to just tell.
Giving each other gifts on the holidays is a must! The two of you will spend hours looking for something meaningful. He likes thinking of the meaning of your gift when he gets them.
Event- chief’s words: Send me a trait from this list and a character, and I’ll give you relationship hcs with a reader with the trait you choose.

You finally knew where you were- Taranor. You didn’t expect Kayron to use a human army this time; perhaps you both had the same train of thought. (However, your plan to gain Ezeran support quite failed.) With Kayron bringing you out like this, you knew- this was going to be the end. Another defeat, it seemed like. Perhaps it was better to just let you and Ras die once again and take another approach in saving Orbis- if Diche could allow it.
You sighed, taking a deep breath. You were going to control your thoughts. You had made the mistake of letting Tenebria live- you should’ve tried to sneak out and get rid of her instead of doing nothing, letting her heal. In any case, you couldn’t do anything about it now. So, you prepared yourself with a steady mind, ready to once again wage war.
You saw Tenebria as she made her way to you. You were right beside Kayron- not a good place or time to fight her. Ideally, you wouldn’t want to fight her now- Kayron would step in, making it more difficult to win. These were two tough opponents, and you’d rather deal with them one by one.
“(Y/N), come outside with me, hehe,” the pink haired acolyte led you outside. You didn’t resist at all- this would allow you to separate them. In fact, they were separating themselves. You gave Kayron one last glare- and he returned it with a smirk of his own. Tenebria took you outside to see a battlefield- soldiers running around, commanders yelling, wounded being treated, others dying.
“Isn’t this wonderful? The cries of agony, oh, it’s all over the battlefield,” she told you, as if it wasn’t obvious that was what she thought. You didn’t answer, and you didn’t pay her much mind. You’d been equipped with your weapons, and you were absolutely ready to strike. You were fairly certain that Kayron would have to expend extra effort to notice anything, and Tenebria was disposable to him anyways.
In a flash, you unsheathed your blade- its sparkling silver exterior, with a symbol of Diche engraved into its hilt. Your legs moved as fast as it could, in a split second it reached its destination. You could feel the wind Orbis had created, leading you onto a path of glory after a journey of defeat- it was a feeling you’d experienced in the third world, something you didn’t know you’d missed. You could sense Tenebria’s feared expression; you loved to see her out of her puppet master expression. This was your revenge.
You stopped. You stopped in your tracks. On the balcony you were both on, there was a strange silence. You could see the acolyte tremble in fear, her magic clearly visible. You’d triggered a self defense mechanism, something you didn’t expect as you had ample speed to kill her before she could process her thoughts. Perhaps you weren’t as strong as you thought- maybe being revived so many times had weakened you, especially this time.
You couldn’t process your thoughts. There was nothing to think. There was only one thing you knew: to kill Kraureit Roheil of Taranor.
As soon as Tenebria regained her posture, you were sent down to the battlefield. Your body moved in a bit of an unfamiliar way, though not very noticeable. You couldn’t feel pain, you couldn't tell if your stamina was running out. You were a robot at this point, a machine from Eureka. The entire way there, you ran at full speed, eyes locked on the target.
As soon as you reached the eyesight of the target, you lunged forward, giving him a shallow wound in his face. You skid backwards from the attack, but you wasted no time in the next attack. You repetitively tried to slash at your target, the next attack faster and more irritated than the next. Tenebria, back on the balcony, held back her tears with a pout on her face. She knew you were going to be at your limit, and she brought you back up.

You know, procrastination is a powerful thing- it is extremely powerful, along with other emotions, such as pity and the words “Then maybe perhaps I’d do it later.” Getting revenge on someone who caused you so much pain wasn’t something someone would procrastinate, definitely, especially with the hatred that you had for him. “Then why?” you asked yourself. “Why don’t I have the strength to end this? To feel at peace within myself?” Your mother described it as pity. You’d never met someone as pitiful as he- someone given a desire, taken away when the one who gave it to him disappeared.
Maybe you’d given up on it. It wasn’t every time you saw his face your blood boiled in anger; instead, you most likely remembered the peaceful times you’ve had recently. You hadn’t been able to kill him; in fact, you were being hospitable to him. Definitely not the friendliest of all people, but still, in fact, considerate. Perhaps you were in a stoop; you didn’t know and it was too much to think about.
Your mother said to focus on the holiday festival. You used to love going to these; they were the highlight of your year back in the day, before you became an heir. You sincerely missed them, and you wanted to go back. You’d often go with your friends, laughing and giggling until your parents had to find you and bring you back home. Those were fond memories, and you’d love to see how they were doing, but it would just be odd to visit them at this point. Sure, it had been only a few months to a year, or something like that, since you’d “run away”, however it felt to you more like a decade. That’s what it really was, but only to you, Ras, and Kayron- the only ones who were left alive after this long war.
You started to think like how Ras would. Maybe it was the “old age”. Surely, he wasn’t that old, however it was the experiences you’d been through, so similar to his, that made you feel that way. It was how you missed your neverending burning passion- something Ras had lost through grief. Perhaps it was the feelings of acceptance- that you’d never get it back, but it was all over and you could do nothing to stop it. It was a somewhat familiar sense of emptiness, something you thought you had felt before, yet couldn’t pinpoint when or about what.
You were hesitant to go when your mother suggested you take him to the festival. You were still iffy on him, though you hadn’t gone after him yet. She compared it to the early versions of the robots in Reingar. She said, “The robots were created to be harmful, but once they point their aim at something else, they’re no longer harmful. That’s why the security club stands near them.” You saw some truth in that, you supposed. There was really no arguing with your mother. She was more stubborn than you, and there was always some sense in it. At least you could decide whether to take the advice or not.
Your town loved costumes. It was a tradition, just in your town, to wear a costume for the festival. It happened mostly with the younger people, and it would be odd if you didn’t wear one. You mom had kept her and your father’s costumes, which they had worn back in their day, in the closet, and she brought one out to you. When you were younger, you’d said that you wanted to wear it someday. You figured she remembered. She brought out one for Kayron, and you gave her a pout, but there was no use in buying something new for him. Maybe you really didn’t have a choice after all, but you were just going with it.
When you asked him if he even wanted to go to the festival, he gave you a bland “Okay.” and left it at that. You weren’t exactly thrilled to be giving a tour to someone so unenthusiastic; maybe it was better that you go by yourself. Well, you couldn’t expect him to be enthusiastic in the first place; it wouldn’t be him if he was.
Talking to him was like talking to a wall. He just listened- there wasn’t much left in him. You didn’t know what in the heck happened to him. You still almost hoped he was as strong as he was, so you wouldn’t feel bad about getting revenge on a powerless version of him. Though, it seemed he didn’t even care about anything anymore.
When you asked him to try some of the games, because that’s what people did at the festival, he went to try them, to your surprise. You thought he’d be just walking around and observing, planning to do who-knows-what. He was surprisingly bad at the shooter games somehow. You’d need at least decent aim to be able to swing the sword the way he did; you really got a laugh out of it.
Every year, during the festival, the school puts up a play- this year’s was a comedy. You didn’t expect it to be that funny; after all, it had never been great and they were just some students having fun in a small town. The play was about a guy who always got caught up with trouble at the school. It was pretty subpar to be honest, but you caught Kayron laughing- just for a moment. Sure, it was kind of funny, but you didn’t expect him of all people to laugh, of all emotions.

“Hey~ (Y/N)~ Wanna fight?” Tenebria appeared in front of your prison cell at a time you assumed was around dawn. You didn’t have a view of the outside, but your body seemed to follow its regular schedule. Your body felt stale; it had been just about rotting away in the cell. You weren’t chained up, however you were trapped in a small space with just about nothing to do but think. There wasn’t much to think about in the first place, and there was no reason to get mad at anything, so you were really just wasting your time. You tried listening for things and looking out the cell to the hall outside, but you didn’t really find anything.
You didn’t really want to go; your body was weak from the lack of human sustenance. That would result in a poor performance surely, and you did not want to lose to Tenebria under any circumstance.
“Yes,” slipped out of your mouth. You hadn’t forgotten about the spell, however you believed it couldn’t push you this far. There was no going back now; perhaps, you could get rid of Tenebria now. You were given your swords back- it was good to know that you still had your weapons and didn’t need to find a suitable replacement.
You readied your stance, hoping to be able to catch Tenebria by surprise with your state. You knew she wasn’t going to fight you seriously- she wanted to play with you, and fighting seriously wouldn’t allow her to have the fun she was looking for. You would use that to your advantage. You were still much stronger than average, having many lives to sharpen your skills, and you were somewhat confident you could beat her- you just were not in prime condition, which did not help your situation.
When you fought, you were able to heal yourself a little bit. You had learned a little bit of healing magic over the years, and lifesteal was one of them. By the end of the fight, you had restored yourself to good condition. You had been able to resist some of her magic, due to your increased strength. As the battle went on, you got stronger, healing yourself and getting back into the fighting groove once again.
You stood above Tenebria, ready to finish her off. You’d ended many acolytes out of their evil existence many times, and this was just the same. Your swords were at her throat, ready to slice what you’d been waiting to slice.
“There is no need for you to do that,” you heard a voice behind you- a voice which made your blood boil. You wanted to drop the acolyte and charge straight at the man, but-

“(Y/N),” Iseria called, as she walked towards you.
You were training, as you did with all your spare time. After all, what else was there to do? Everything else was meaningless- if it didn’t help save Orbis, it was meaningless.
You turned your attention towards the young heir, “Yes?”
“We need you to join the search party for Alexa; our previous search party had mysteriously disappeared and we need you to help find both the search party and Alexa.” she described, her eyes showing a hint of weakness at the loss of her friend. You didn’t blame her; friends you risked your lives with were precious to you, long ago. You knew how it felt, but you felt it no longer.
“Sure, when is the search party leaving?” you replied, seeing the worry in her eyes. Sometimes you longed to feel like that, but perhaps the disappearance of your emotions was for the better.
“You’ll be leaving as soon as possible, please send notice as soon as you are ready to go,” she said, turning away from you.
It didn’t take you long to get ready. It’s not like you had much to bring- a few clothes, your weapons, yourself. It’s not like Diche could bring all your belongings with you each time you died; it was already difficult enough to just bring you and Ras over. When you met the rest of the search party, you didn’t know any of them. You had no idea of their names, nor who their identity was. It wasn’t like it mattered though; you were enough to bring back a knight. After all, if you had almost defeated the Archdemon several times, you could bring back Alexa no problem.
You were made leader of the team, as should be, and you kept your aura of excellence around you. The entire trip there was spent in a pleasant silence, at least for you. Yuna had sent an amazing vehicle to bring you there; it only took a couple of hours to get there. You were quite impressed with the heirs you had found so far; they looked quite promising. The other Heirs from previous worlds weren’t as promising- or perhaps you were being hopeful.
Each world was a bit different than the last, though generally the same. Last time, Reingar had been purely an academy city, but this time it was more than that. They were quite innovative this time around, due to their student council president’s inventions. You were impressed, and you thought this would help you gain support. It wasn’t long before the archdemon would be revived; you knew Kayron would be putting his best work, and you would too. You figured Iseria would be a great and powerful ally, and you planned on using her to her best ability.
When you arrived in Reingar, you were greeted by the student council.
“Woah! It’s really (y/n)! You’re such an amazing knight!” Yuna’s eyes sparkled as she saw you.
“Ahaha, thanks,” you took the compliment.
“I wonder who’d win, you or Ras? Such a tough question!” you heard her say, flinching at the reference of your old friend.
You cleared your throat, “Anyways, we’re here to search for Alexa and the rest of the other search party. Any clues as to her whereabouts?”
“Last location the tracker reported was in a cave, near the border of the city,” Hazel answered the question for you, appearing with her signature glasses and unnecessarily big book.
“Alright,” you prepared to head over the specified location after Hazel had pointed it out on the map for you, but one thing kept prominent in your mind, despite the existence of other pressing matters that should be considered beforehand.
“Hazel,” you called out to her, before the team was ready to leave. You did have something to ask her, yet you had been hesitant to ask. She looked at you, wondering what you could possibly request. With this, it would have been weird to say it was nothing, so you asked, “Is it possible we use the trackers as well?”
Instead of hearing an answer from Hazel, you heard Yuna butt in, “Of course! We have several types available, easily customizable for personal needs…” She could go on and on, but time was definitely a-wasting, and so you requested the standard for you and your team and Yuna happily provided it.
When you arrived at the cave, you could instantly tell that there was a large-scale magic spell in place. You ordered the team to be cautious and on guard, and you joined them. You had your weapons out, knowing that there was someone there, waiting to prey on you. However, you didn’t want to startle your team, as you had noticed that they got scared quite easily. You didn't know why you were given such an incompetent team, but this is what you had. You were going to get in, investigate, and get out.
However, it seemed there were other plans for you. As you had them, and yourself, work on the investigation, it seemed they had let their guards down, and you too, apparently. A laugh, seemingly out of nowhere, echoed throughout the cave, and you knew you messed up.

➮ Prologue , Chapter 1
It wasn’t until your senses came back that you realized you had been sleeping in a sitting position. Oddly enough, you didn’t feel surprised at all. It seemed you had merely acknowledged it, and you did nothing about it. What was more strange that you didn’t mind was that you were sitting on the floor of a strange place, somewhere you had never seen before. You didn’t even have a blanket over you; you just sat there in your clothes. You didn’t know how long you had been sitting, but you figured it was a long time, since your butt was aching.
Pain was just about the only emotion you felt. Perhaps you could say a sense of tranquility had been applied as well, overriding other emotions. You knew this was the acolyte Tenebria’s work, however you felt no sorts of rage or disappointment. You figured this was a new sort of spell she had wanted to try out, and you realized that perhaps you could take advantage of this. You were now an inside spy; perhaps this could give you an edge over Kayron. You would love to feel the rage you felt towards him, but the emotions refused to surface. You shrugged it off, thinking that it wasn’t important that you actually felt that way, but that you knew that you should feel that way.
You decided that you were to get something to eat; your stomach growling indicated that your body required sustenance, therefore you were going to supply it. You made your way to the door, which you opened easily. You knew nothing of the layout of the area, therefore you were going to explore. You had no fear of being attacked or anything; this emotion no longer existed or surfaced.
You wandered around searching for something edible. After a while, you stumbled upon a small kitchen, and you made yourself a bit of (favorite food). It reminded you of your parents, which you had seen after you had died several times. There wasn’t much to feel, but a loose sense longing lingered. That was something, you figured.
“Oh~ Hello, (y/n)~” you heard tenebria walk into the room. You took a good look at her; she was quite the new figure. You wondered why Kayron would work with someone like her, but she was strong and you couldn’t dispute that. You looked at her unfamiliar pink braids, the way she walked, the look in her eyes; they displayed a curious sense of pleasure, perhaps similar to a wringed cloth soaked in sadistic pleasure. You went back to eating your (favorite food), ignoring the acolyte. After all, was there a reason to fear her? Your brain decided that there wasn’t; she wasn’t going to hurt her new little playdoll, and she didn’t know your hatred towards her side of the war.
“Oh? Not responding? That’s interesting. Well then, (y/n), it seems Kayron wants to see you,” she said, bringing you to where kayron stood. It was an unfamiliar space; this wasn’t a part you had explored earlier. It made sense; they wouldn’t let someone, especially you, find a place presumably as important as this. Tenebria stood in front of you, talking to him about wanting to “play with you”. Initially, he refused, but he eventually gave in and let her “play with you” for a while, as long as you weren’t severely injured or dead. She responded with a “Okay~” and left, surprisingly leaving you there.
You looked at him straight in the eyes. Even though your expression didn’t show it, your eyes certainly displayed your true rage towards this man. He certainly recognized it, and he certainly recognized you. He certainly remembered each and every wound you had given him, every defeat you had cost him, every death he had suffered- and it pleased him to see you like this, before him in a docile manner.
He merely showed a smirk of victory. It was a simple act, yet it showed a million messages.

You could feel your senses coming back to you, your thoughts no longer controlled. Your actions- for now, you could control them. You moved your own body as you wished, moving your arms and legs to your will. You could feel how exhausted your body was; you weren’t surprised at all with how Tenebria made you move. There was only so much it could handle, as you were only human.
You looked to your left, finding Tenebria wrapped in a protective layer of her illusion magic. She must still be afraid from your assasination attempt. You would’ve thought she would’ve liked being endangered for the thrill, but perhaps she rather preferred playing pulling the strings for a safe, high-up place.
“(Y/N), Kayron’s in the palace, go help him out,” she commanded, your body once again complying to the acolyte. You once again raged at the magic, which rather worsened its effects. You were simply frustrated, at your complete incompetence. You had said that you would win a certain victory this time, however it seemed that Ras was making much more progress- in fact, it seemed that you were rather in the negatives while Ras was in the hundreds.
As for why Tenebria had sent you, she probably wanted you away from her, to switch targets. You could easily dispel her magic if you weren’t under her spell, and you assumed that she knew that. The homunculi were still under control; you figured it took all she had to keep them under control. It was natural though, you must’ve activated a defense mechanism that had never been used before.
Your body moved on its own again, running to make its way to the heart of the conflict, with the heirs against the king of the undead. You could no longer feel your body, a strange numbness overtook all senses. Your mind raged with frustration with anger, with also guilt that you didn’t finish off Tenebria, knowing you could. You were simply a mess and a failure of an heir, and you hated yourself for this. You knew full well that this was the worst attempt you had made. Perhaps you could redeem yourself in the next world, if Diche could bring you there.
In any case, you tried to take the opportunity to kill Kayron, since you were making your way there already. You just hoped that your body would somehow resist the magic. You knew you were asking for a miracle, but you just had to try. You wanted to back down, but you weren’t going to do that- not in a million years.
However, instead, your body dashed on to fight Iseria instead, the elf whose support you had tried to gain before all of this. You didn’t want to fight her, but you had no choice, as your body moved on its own. You were as fast as ever, yet you could tell your body was being forced to move in such ways. You moved forward against Iseria, your blades flying. You blocked the blades she sent forwards with your own, and attempted to move towards the caster.
“(Y/N), what happened in the cave-” Iseria asked with a confused face. She was definitely kept in the dark about what had happened, you figured. You had wanted to work together, to achieve your grand dream of saving Orbis, but it seemed that couldn’t happen. Your guilt, or any negative emotion in fact, seemed to amplify the effect. You had figured that out, and you tried to calm yourself down, but perhaps being on the battlefield made that impossible.
You slipped deeper in the nightmare, and Tenebria took that as an opportunity to defeat Iseria, leaving the elf unable to fight further. Tenebria then caught Yuna unguarded, also leaving her unable to fight.
You are then met with the other heirs, and your body is at its limit. After fighting full strength over an extended period of time, of course it would give out. You saw that Kayron as well had been weakened severely, and a sudden burst of magic teleported the two of you out of the castle.
