How you Met
○ Mort battled with himself on whether he should approach you first or not. He was still fairly new to being a ghoul by some standards but 25+ years of not changing and seeing the wasteland was still a majority of a regular person's lifespan now. And with that knowledge came the realization that he needed to go forward and take things as they came. Which meant not letting you just be another passerby. Even if that meant getting rejected or told to go away as he often was, he'd kick himself for the next 25 years if he didn't.
○ It was a comment on the music playing in the place from the jukebox which led to rambling about other music and other tech, then onto other things. It went on for so long it took a minute for him to realize the significance of you still there and still listening. When he did he finally looked you in the eye, realizing he'd been on autopilot almost worried you'd leave if he stopped, felt his heart skip several beats. Then offered to buy you a drink.
○ It wouldn't be long before you were a regular there, which was a huge relief to him. Many were moving back and you were on the hunt for work. You hoped to eventually become a Responder which when you told him, tugged at his heart strings. Not only were you gorgeous, you were kind.
○ This led perfectly for him to offer help when you needed it, plenty of dangerous places Responders needed to get to and for the first time in a while, he could have more purpose. Be around more kind and open people.
○ The Wayward was still your regular place and it took months of visiting Duchess and Mort before you got into talks of him joining with you. But Mort did offer to tag along with you to places claiming it was dangerous to be alone, walks along the roads together or even just hunting for food to take back to the kitchen inside the Wayward. He was good at offering himself up as company for you and you always took it kindly.
○ When you asked him to join you proper it was very shocking to him though. Being your tag along at times and a drinker at Duchess's was about as much as he figured he could hope for. He'd say he'd take time to think on it, now realizing you truly did want to share some form of deeper life journey together.
○ He of course eventually says yes after some deeper talks with Duchess, Sol and Polly. Who all push him to pursue it. Afterall a chance to live again as a Ghoul didn't come often, he says yes and is forced to confront just how much you mean to him.
Date Moments
● Mort is a huge flirt but he tends to always cover it up with humor. But when he's honest he's very honest, and maybe its the drinks or just the way you shrug he would 100% tell you "You're beautiful. Don't worry about that."
● Being around him reminds you just how genuine some people can be. You've met kind people, but 20 times as many terrible ones. His personality and presence is a comfort in itself so its easy to get to know him, from the first moment he asked to buy you a drink to the 500th.
● He does ask you on a proper "date" though and tries to think of something that isn't just sitting at the bar. He finds a decent enough spot by a creek and you end up having a little picnic date, despite having shared several meals over many months. Being sat with you on a real date makes him insanely nervous.
● You go back to The Wayward when the music stage is up and working again, he asks you to dance claiming he "Wanted to remember what its like" and when you finally touch hands and start to dance, you are welcome to acknowledge how much you loved being around him. And its when you share your first kiss ignoring everybody else around. Though having unjudging eyes as Duchess watched warmly from the bar was very welcome.

Not really, but he can tell when you want to be hugged and/or cuddled
When you’re with him in the public eye/when he’s working, he’ll have his arm around your shoulder or waist to tell “Later <3″
It really happens when you’re alone
because the media is obviously going to assume something
and the people around are obviously going to get tired of it and make too many unnecessary comments
the king of taranor has to keep some sort of honorable reputation yknow
loves hugs and cuddles
esp at night, it’s very relaxing at him
you could just spend hours of him holding you and softly talking under the moonlight, enjoying each other’s warmth
Ras
Ras is great at telling when you wanna cuddle/hug (just not as good as Krau)
all of his worries go away and you can see that certain soft smile on his face
will be willing to spend the whole day cuddling as long as there are no prior plans that need to be accompished
ras has the most calming touches you can’t tell me otherwise
it does take him a while to get used to it
at first he’d get like embarrased
but once he gets used to it it’s the most relaxing thing ever
100% quality time 100/10 would recommend
Mort
In public, Mort is similar to Krau (a little)
he’ll wrap his arm around you
and give that signature smirk of his- he loves showing that to you
when you’re alone, he will tease you
mort loves teasing you 100%
loves when you’re embarrassed, he thinks it’s very cute
will tease you about wanting cuddles but will definitely give them to you
Karyon
I’m sorry to say that this man doesn’t really like cuddles that much
he prefers acts of service + gift giving much more
I don’t know, I just think that he just feels awkward with them
he’s kinda embarrassed about it
over time may accommodate
won’t really reciprocate much but can learn to love you cuddling him
hugging in public is a no he dislikes that- he gets too embarrassed
will do/buy something as a replacement for that tho

Well, he had the place built for you, he doesn’t know construction or flower arrangement too well
However, he did have his hands on the project and he made sure it suited your tastes
He always thought about how you’d react to the present when you found out

He’s SO PROUD of it
as if he did all the work but he’s proud that he overlooked it and it turned out good
He’s happy if he sees you’re happy
it also inflates his ego a little bit

If you can info dump about flowers and stuff, he’ll consider it a success if you do
he’s not necessarily thrilled about flowers but the fact that he once again successfully completed something perfectly as he should all the time is relieving
After all, anything other than success for Mort will be,,, game changing to say the least
