Karim Benzema has shared a photo on social media in which the remarkable state of his little finger hasn't gone unnoticed.

The Frenchman's fifth finger on his right hand is badly twisted, bent double in the photo, while the others are straight.

In fact, it's been like that since 2019. In January of that year, away to Real Betis in the Estadio Benito Villamarin, Benzema fractured his finger and was advised to undergo surgery, but the player himself forewent this option in order to keep playing and avoid spending several weeks on the sidelines at a time when the team badly needed him.

It causes him no serious problems in his daily life, so it seems he is happy to continue to put off surgery and no doubt Los Blancos fans will be delighted about that.
