And That’s a Wrap for Kevin Big Bang 2015

Posting has finished for Kevin Big Bang 2015!  We’d like to thank all the artists and authors who participated for contributing such wonderful fanworks, as well as all the readers and followers who’ve joined us for our first year.   

We’re planning to come back next year, so we’d welcome any suggestions for things you’d like to see in 2016.  In the meantime, we’re going to keep running a daily queue of Kevin/Osric content, so we hope you all will stick around, and continue to rec us to your Kevin-loving friends.  We’ll also post news about our plans for the 2016 bang as it develops.

The 2015 Masterlist has a permanent page, so if you haven’t checked out the fics and art yet, we hope you will!  In addition, we have a list For Further Reading that contains 50+ Kevin-centric fics open for art and/or remixing.

 Summary: Kevin wakes up from death to discover his mom has sold her soul. With only a year to save her, Kevin teams up with Sam to find Crowley and Dean. However, remembering how to be a functioning alpha is a daunting task, and Kevin finds himself struggling in a world that he wasn’t supposed to be part of anymore.

Reminder: Kevin Big Bang Amnesty Period November 28-December 2

Starting November 28, we’ll accept submissions for new (not previously published) Kevin-centric fanworks from anyone, regardless of whether you were signed up for the bang.  We welcome fic, art, vids, playlists, and any other form of fanwork you dream up!  We’re excited to see what you all create, and it’s a great chance to get your work in front of a big, Kevin-loving audience.

If you need inspiration, we have a list of 50+ Kevin-centric fics that are open to art and/or remixing.  Go check them out!

Posting Week Reminder!

Posting week is upon us, and the mods would like to take a moment to remind you that on your posting day, you need to submit your header to the KBB tumblr. The submit page is here. If you've never posted in a bang before, detailed posting instructions are here.

Here's a short run-down of what you need to provide on your posting day. If you want to submit something to the KBB during Amnesty Week, use the same basic template. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message us!

Authors and artists should create their own masterposts. Then, when everything has been posted/unlocked/gone live, submit a header post to the KBB community using the submit page that provides the following information: Title: Author: [main username] | [other usernames if desired] Artist: [main username] | [other usernames if desired] Rating & Pairing (or Gen): Genre (if you want to include this): Approx.
