Simblr Community Challenge by @amelettes

I feel as if everyone has their own story about why they got involved with the Simblr community and I’ve always been curious about that so I decided to throw this together because I feel like it’d be a great way for people to get to know one another and maybe find new blogs they’d like to follow and support <3

How long have you been playing The Sims?

I think around seven years ago? Maybe eight? I think it was a way to get me to focus on something other than her ongoing divorce, but then I absolutely fell in love with Sim 3 and she started to regret my addiction. oops?

How long have you been a simblr, and how long have you been one? 

About a year! I made my cc finds blog last January for personal use, but around April of last year I made this sideblog because i needed something to focus on other than the state of the world and school.

What type of simblr are you? 

A gameplay blog, mostly. In the future I’d like to give storytelling a shot, though!

What generation of Sims do you primarily play?

I primarily play the Sims 4 now, but I’d like to get back into playing Sims 3 in the future. It’s always been my favorite of the two games.

yes, definitely! I was just in a weird place that day and felt overwhelmed by the drafts so I decided to post them all at once so I didnt have to think about them anymore. but I'm definitely still recoloring! just giving myself a lil break from it before i come back!

i'm a cis, bisexual woman! and maybe ace or demisexual? the jury's still out on that one

i haven't managed to go to a pride parade yet, but if things work out, i'll be going to one later this month!

🌊 - Ideal date?

my ideal date... i'm not sure, really? i dunno, probably something simple, like hanging out at the park together, maybe a picnic, and reading a book the other chose for them.

Hi! What recolor palette for hair do you use in your gameplay?

I tend to use the palettes I recolor in, so the Historian and Scientist palettes by @serindipitysims and A Moot Point palette by @omicient! though I have been thinking about trying out the Candy Shoppe palette recently, so maybe that in the future? not sure yet but maybeeee
